Naturally, Ewan and Asher Ryder did not care about what those people were thinking. After driving the ox cart back home, the Alpha jumped down to help Ewan off the carriage, and then the Alpha piled all the seeds they had bought into the storage room that had just been reorganized a few days ago.
Once everything was done, Asher Ryder said to Ewan: "Stay here, I will go return the ox to the village chief first."
Ewan nodded, this time they returned much earlier than they had anticipated. It was only early dusk, yet having been out all day, the two of them had not eaten anything, having only filled their stomachs with a bun at The Moon's Fork at noon.
Thus, waiting for Asher Ryder to leave, Ewan began to ponder over what to eat for dinner tonight. He looked around for a moment, suddenly spotting the bag of white rice they had just bought in the afternoon.
