Chapter 3 - The very first one werewolf

The First Werewolf — The Progenitor of the Howl

Name

Ur-Vargan

Lupus Primordia

The First Howl

He Who Taught the Moon to Bleed

---

Origin

He was not born from a curse.

He was the curse itself.

Before werewolves existed, before the moon had meaning, there was a single being whose soul resonated with predatory instinct, lunar force, and survival itself. The universe didn't create him—it reacted to him.

When gods tried to define beasts and men, he existed in between, and that contradiction birthed the werewolf species.

Every werewolf after him is a diluted echo.

---

Power Scale (Why He Can't Be Killed)

1. Conceptual Immortality

He is not alive in the normal sense.

Killing him would require erasing the idea of predation, the hunt, or the beast within intelligence.

As long as fear, instinct, or the moon exist, he exists.

Death simply… doesn't recognize him.

---

2. Absolute Regeneration

Body, soul, instinct, and identity regenerate simultaneously.

Erasing him from reality causes reality to correct itself and bring him back.

Time rewinds around him if necessary—not by his will, but by natural law rejecting his absence.

---

3. Lunar Sovereignty

The moon is not his power source.

The moon is his symbol.

Full moon = his presence is maximized.

New moon = his power turns inward (mind, strategy, curse manipulation).

Eclipses weaken everyone else—not him.

---

4. Alpha of All Alphas

All werewolves—past, present, future—are subconsciously aware of him.

He does not control them.

But:

No werewolf can permanently harm him.

No werewolf can surpass him.

Their transformations, instincts, and bloodlines all trace back to him.

He is their origin point.

---

The One Limitation: Imprisonment

This is the key that keeps him narratively balanced and terrifying.

Why He Can Be Imprisoned

He cannot be destroyed—but he can be sealed, because sealing does not deny his existence.

Imprisonment works because it says:

> "You may exist… but not act."

---

Conditions Required to Imprison Him

It's never easy. It requires multiple absolute rules:

A prison outside normal space (no time, no moonlight, no cycles).

Seals powered by collective will (gods, titans, primordial beings).

A binding concept stronger than violence—such as:

Law

Oath

Balance

Silence

Stillness

If even one seal breaks, he doesn't escape slowly.

He erupts.

---

Why the Gods Fear Him

They didn't defeat him.

They panicked.

After realizing he could not die, the gods rewrote history so no one would remember him. Myths contradict each other on purpose—to keep mortals from reconstructing the truth.

Werewolves aren't a curse to him.

They are his legacy leaking back into the world.

---

Personality (Important)

He is not mindless.

Ancient

Patient

Coldly compassionate toward beasts and outcasts

Utterly indifferent to gods

He doesn't hate his imprisonment.

He's just waiting.

Because he knows:

> Prisons are temporary.

Concepts are eternal.
