"Are you so shocked or have I made some mistake?"
Taking a deep breath, Yushin returned to looking normal.
"I don't have a clue how you found out I am a beastkin, but your best bet is to keep your mouth shut".
"Nice threat... I won't lie you almost made me quiver in fear. Anyway if you want me to not spill the beans on you then it's simple your gonna do me some favours"
"I don't understand... favours, what do you mean by favours?"
Assad smiled.
Eight days had passed, and every day was the same; he was still shackled and was only given a little food each day. It was frustrating and gruesome all he heard was other prisoners screaming in their cells.
Assad didn't care; he killed people, but he didn't kill them the way an assassin would; he just couldn't stand the noise, and that was the issue.
Since he was young as Toon Horst, loud noises were not his cup of tea. So now he was having a front row seat to the loud croud of prisoners yelling stupid stuff. This made him want to close his ears but with the chains that were binding his arms, it was useless.
Footsteps then started to approach Assad's cell and he didn't even bother to look up as he already knew who it was.
Mae Yongsun arrived with two men, one being Yushin himself and another being a prison guard. The prison guard opened the cell door and Yongsun went to Assad and stared him down not doing anything else.
"Listen if your going to be a nuisance again then leave I don't have the mood for you."
Mae Yongsun stayed quiet not saying a word.
He then crouched down and unlocked Assad's chains. This made Assad surprised for a moment, he then started to stretch his arms because the pain of those chains were a burden.
Seconds after that his hands were chained again.
"Wait... the hell!? What are you doing!?"
"Don't get shit twisted, when I unlocked your chains it didn't mean that you were being released just like that."
"Then why did you unlock them in the first place."
"You'll see."
Assad clicked his tongue in annoyance. Mae Yongsun starts walking out of the cell first and took the direction the came with, Yushin followed behind him. The prison guard grabbed Assad's chains and dragged him out of his cell, he had no choice but to follow behind.
All four of them started walking through the prison hall, many cells holding criminals and they are all bashing to their doors seeing Assad as prey, some wanting to have him as dinner and some wanting to have some fun with him.
Assad did not flinch and continued walking. After getting through the noise what came after was complete silence.
Assad did not like it and decided to open up a conversation.
"So, where are we going?"
Mae Yongsun did not look back but still responded, his voice carrying some authority.
"To your execution of course."
"So I'm gettin' the death penalty, great."
Mae Yongsun nodded in response.
"It was decided two days ago, by the Dark Division corrections officer. He said it was best that you get the death penalty with immediate effect, so that's what gonna happened."
Assad looked down and said nothing.
"And also, it won't be a public thing. Yes the Empire knows that someone from Sixty-Forth was arrested but they don't know your face so your in the clear."
Assad slowly raised his head in shock. His arrest was not made public well at least his identity was not made public at all. How was that even possible?
" Oh right, before I forget... "
Mae Yongsun stopped walking and turned to Assad, then he takes one of his hands to his pockets and starts digging inside. Assad does not understand what was about to happen.
Yongsun takes out four pictures and shows them to Assad.
Assad confused just looks at the photo's. His eyes slowly start to widen and what he had just seen.
His voice was silent almost as if he had lost it.
"No."
