It's been a few days since I apologized to Ms. Azul. I guess my aggressiveness got the best of me, and I could not keep control. Even though being a murderer is not all bad, you still have regrets that you can't keep. Regrets that people see and, well, try to ruin it. But me and her have started talking again, and I'm kind of glad. She also told me she's sorry for being out of place and for being a little too curious to see the rest of the backyard.
So I told the truth, I told her that it was just the koi pond back there that my parents used to have. All those koi fish represent my parents, that's why they are special to me. And I never let anyone go back there. But I'm kind of glad that she told the truth. I mean, it was my fault after all, but it doesn't really matter. All I know is that it's gonna be all right with her, and me and her wanna keep a good, stable relationship as friends. That's all, you know? While I was spending time with her, I started doing my own thing.
Started hanging out in the classroom that we ha that, that there is. I started hanging out there a couple of days ago. It's really fun. Well, to me, it is. No one in there really likes me. Well, not like me, but not know me exactly. Everyone in there hangs out with their friends. That's the only reason why I go in there, which is because of a teacher named Mr.Smith. He's a really cool teacher, and he's willing to help me out. He knows the backstory behind my past, but he doesn't really care about that. He's potentially me, so I'm happy for it.
I usually hang out in there alone since, well, there's a bunch of white people. And I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but I'm the odd one out in that class. I'm the only person who speaks Spanish in there. Nobody else does. So you kinda get used to it over time. But as far as I can tell, everything was going good until things decided to go south.
One morning, I went in there just to hang out. Hang out with Mr.Smith and talk to him about my day. I was gonna go help him until this girl came up to me and asked if I had a video. I was confused about what she said, but then I remembered that a kid by the name of Rudy sent me a video of his code on the computer. That code leads to his photos, and in that photo, there's a video of a fight that happened, which apparently she wanted. I told her no, but she wouldn't refuse. She kept bugging me and bugging me, but I couldn't do anything about it. Rudy is a really good friend of mine.
I started hanging out I started hanging out with him when I started going into that class. He's really cool. He's a kid who, well, does stupid things, but it's nothing bad, really. As far as I can tell, Rudy is a friend who sees me as a murderer and just calls me out for it. But I don't really mind. After all, he did help me pass that math quiz, so I do thank him for that. While I was talking to her, telling her that I don't have the video, she started getting frustrated with me, raising her tone, thinking that she was higher up. I mean, I'm kinda used to it, but I have to keep it in, you know? I don't want things to get out of hand, and then I get in trouble for it. So I just kept low and thought of other ideas I could do. But that didn't work because all she did was call her friends and just gang up on me.
It's a bunch of guys who don't really know what they're doing, so I couldn't really do anything about it. But after all, there is something I cannot do. While this whole argument was going on, one of the girls who kept arguing with me got frustrated because I wouldn't give her a clear answer. So she was about to raise her hand until one of them stopped her, saying, "I'm the kid who killed that guy.
I'm the killer," that want they all say.
So she backed off. But now I know that things ain't gonna be fun. I already have people hating me, and Rudy is nowhere to be found. So after all, I can't really think of it.
I mean, they all know I'm friends with her, and she's, well, hanging out with the killer. Plus, I can't really do anything with this ankle now. You're on my ankle. I can't really get aggressive. Mostly, it's gonna shock me, so there's really nothing I can do. While I'm in class, I get a text from Rudy saying,
"Hey, I need you to do me a favor."
"What is it?"
"I need you not to send people the password, can you do that?"
"Yeah, but how come?"
"Well, it's the password for my photos,
You should already know that by now, right?"
"Yeah, the reason you gave it to me was so I could upload pictures on your thing when I take pictures of you doing stupid stuff, is that correct?"
"Yeah, But there's also one thing."
"What is it now?"
"There's a fight on there that I have that happened a couple of weeks ago."
"Hear about it?"
"Oh, yeah, the fight that I almost got blamed for?"
"Yeah, that one. I need you to do me a favor."
"Be careful now. In that class we usually hang out in, I fought one of their friends."
"And, there's a girl by the name of Marley in that class."
"Marley? Hmm."
"Does she have blonde hair?"
"Yes, sir."
"Oh, It's the girl who yelled at me earlier."
"Why, what happened?"
"She kept asking me for, uh, for your password and all, but I just told her no, and she didn't really need it."
"God dam it. That's something.
Now they know that you have it."
" Yeah. So what do you want me to do?"
"Look, just keep it low. Don't really mention it to anyone. And try to stay cautious. I mean, I know this is high school after all, but depending on your situation, I do not trust anyone."
After he said that, I knew something was up. Because why would he not show anyone that fight? I mean, was it that bad to say the least?
