[If you can play it with OST: Black Hydra from Spiderman no way home !]
The screen is completely black.
The only sound is the heavy, relentless patter of Gotham rain.
Slowly, the dim blue light of a television screen flickers into view. We are in a quiet, shadowy living room. Commissioner James Gordon sits in a worn leather armchair, his face buried in his hands. Beside him, his daughter Barbara sits on the edge of the sofa, her eyes glued to the screen.
The news anchor's voice is grim and professional, echoing through the silent room.
"The nightmare continues for families across Gotham. Tonight, police confirm that over forty children have gone missing from the city's eastern districts. The Hero Public Safety Commission of Gotham has dispatched several high-ranking Pro-Heroes to assist the Gotham City Police Department in the search and rescue efforts. However... no news of their whereabouts has come as of yet."
[SMASH CUT TO BLACK]
A flash of lightning rips across the dark, stormy sky.
In that split second of brilliant white light, we see them. Three silhouettes, darker than the night itself, leaping across the jagged edge of a gothic rooftop. A massive cape gliding like a bat. A smaller, agile shape flipping gracefully over a chimney. And a third figure, trailing faint, crackling sparks of green lightning, bounding forward with incredible power.
[FADE OUT]
The rain stops. The screen brightens to a cloudy, gray afternoon in Metropolis.
"We're all here, because each of us fights for a better tomorrow."
A man's voice speaks. It is deep, powerful, and filled with a quiet hope.
In the middle of a busy street, a man with a red cape slowly begins to levitate. His boots leave the pavement. The crowd around him is completely frozen. Some people are holding up their phones, their mouths hanging open in awe. But others are stepping back, pointing fingers, their faces twisted in anger as they boo and shout at him.
The man doesn't look angry. He looks determined. He bends his knees slightly in mid-air.
BOOM.
The shockwave shatters the windows of the nearby cars as he shoots directly up into the clouds, breaking the sound barrier in a fraction of a second.
[QUICK CUT]
A dark warehouse. Muzzle flashes light up the room like a strobe light.
"IT'S BATMAN! LIGHT HIM UP!" a thug wearing a black skull mask screams, firing a machine gun blindly into the rafters.
A shadow drops from the ceiling. A heavy boot connects with the thug's jaw. The camera spins wildly, capturing flashes of a black cape, flying Batarangs, and the brutal, terrifying speed of the Dark Knight taking apart the room of armed men in mere seconds.
[QUICK CUT]
A ruined laboratory, glowing with toxic green light.
Izuku Midoriya is standing in the rubble, breathing heavily. He is battered, his hero suit torn. His eyes are wide, and his entire body is sparking with furious, violent green electricity.
"WHY!!" Deku screams, his voice cracking with pure heartbreak.
Standing in front of him is a shadowed figure, barely visible in the smoke. The figure casually straightens their collar. "I was just trying to make them better."
Deku's face twists in rage. He lunges forward, pulling his arm back. The green lightning condenses around his fist, burning brighter than a star. He throws a right hook with everything he has.
The punch connects. The impact causes a massive shockwave that blows the roof off the building, sending the shadowed figure flying backward through three solid concrete walls in a blur of motion.
[FADE TO SILENCE]
"Sometimes... being a hero is enough."
The camera floats in the cold, silent vacuum of space. The massive metal structure of the Justice League Watchtower orbits above the Earth. Inside the observation deck, Superman stands alone. He is looking down at the blue and green marble of the planet, his broad shoulders slumped. He looks tired. He looks full of remorse.
A hand gently rests on his shoulder.
Superman turns his head. Standing right beside him is Izuku. The boy isn't wearing his mask. He is smiling—a bright, warm, understanding smile that chases the shadows away.
"And sometimes... we need to be more."
[SMASH CUT]
An epic, apocalyptic battlefield in deep space. The sky is a burning, terrifying red.
Standing amidst a mountain of broken rocks is a massive, gray-skinned tyrant. His eyes glow with a deadly, piercing red light. Darkseid.
High above him, two streaks of light break through the burning clouds. One is brilliant red and blue. The other is a roaring, comet-like emerald green. Superman and Deku, flying shoulder-to-shoulder at unimaginable speed, diving straight at the god of evil.
They collide with Darkseid at the exact same moment.
The screen goes entirely white. A massive explosion, like an atomic bomb, ripples outward, tearing the ground apart and swallowing the sound.
[QUICK CUT]
Soft acoustic guitar music plays. A beautiful, sunny day in a city park.
Izuku is walking down a paved path, holding two ice cream cones. He is blushing furiously. Walking right beside him, bumping her shoulder playfully against his, is a gorgeous teenage girl. She has bright, golden-blonde hair that catches the sunlight and piercing, ocean-blue eyes. She laughs at something Izuku says, her smile radiant and completely carefree. It looks just like a perfect first date.
[THE MUSIC DISTORTS AND STOPS]
A nightmarish landscape. The sky is bleeding dark purple and black.
A man in a sharp, elegant suit slowly rises into the air. He has no face, only a smooth expanse of scar tissue. All For One. He is surrounded by an ocean of roaring flames and shattered buildings.
In his arms, he holds the limp, unconscious body of a young woman with beautiful purple hair, wearing golden, angelic armor. Athena.
All For One raises his head to the sky, dark energy violently exploding from his body. He looks like a demon king claiming his throne.
"THE WORLD WILL BURN!!!" he roars, his voice vibrating with absolute malice.
[MONTAGE OF CHAOS]
The music swells into a heavy, thumping, terrifying orchestral score.
We see crowds of people in Tokyo screaming, running for their lives as the sky turns pitch black.
We see Gotham City entirely engulfed in creeping shadows.
Massive arcs of black lightning shoot down from the clouds, striking moving cars on a bridge and blowing them apart in balls of orange fire. Buildings crumble to dust. The world is ending.
[CUT TO PITCH BLACK]
We are inside a dark, echoing void. The inside of Izuku's mind.
He is standing on his knees, looking small and desperate. Behind him stand the glowing, colorful silhouettes of the past wielders of One For All. But Izuku isn't looking at them.
He is looking forward, staring at three massive, terrifying, chained doors. The sealed spirits of Natsu, Rokuro, and Meliodas.
"Please!" Izuku shouts into the darkness, tears streaming down his face. "Please help me win!!!"
[FADE IN]
The rain returns.
We are back in the lush, green gardens of Wayne Manor. It is daytime, but the sky is gray. Izuku is sitting on a stone bench, wearing a simple gray hoodie. His head is bowed, his hands resting limply on his knees. He looks completely defeated, staring blankly at the wet grass.
"There will be times, when it feels like nothing you do matters."
Batman's voice speaks. It is deep, gravelly, but filled with a profound sadness.
[QUICK CUT]
A blur of silver and green.
Deku is fighting on a ruined city street, moving with terrifying speed. Beside him is Wonder Woman, her sword flashing as she deflects a barrage of energy blasts. They are fighting a terrifying enemy—a towering android woman that looks like an angel made of jagged, liquid metal and glowing white circuits.
"And like no matter how much you fight, evil will never end."
Batman's voiceover continues over the flashing blades and exploding concrete.
"That to save people, we need to be more than we are."
[QUICK CUT]
Izuku is running. He is sprinting through a dark, empty tunnel.
Floating in the air all around him are shattered pieces of glass. Each piece of glass plays a memory. We see Shigaraki smiling. We see the Joker laughing. We see All For One reaching out. We see blood. We see failures.
Izuku squeezes his eyes shut as he runs, clutching his head.
"I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM!!!!!" Deku's voice echoes, filled with pure, agonizing teenage confusion and pain.
[SMASH CUT]
Back to the quiet Wayne Manor garden. The rain is still falling.
A tall man steps into the frame. He isn't wearing a cape. He isn't wearing armor. It's just Bruce Wayne, wearing a dark trench coat.
Bruce walks over to the stone bench. He doesn't say a word. He just sits down right beside Izuku. He reaches over, wraps his strong arms around the boy's shoulders, and pulls him close.
Izuku gasps. He buries his face into Bruce's chest, his hands gripping the man's coat as he finally breaks down, sobbing openly into the arms of his mentor. Bruce just holds him, resting his chin gently on top of Izuku's green hair, shielding the boy from the rain.
The music fades out into a single, beautiful, hopeful piano chord.
"But being you..."
Batman's voice speaks one last time, softer than we have ever heard it.
"...is enough."
