Chapter 33 - Traitor

'What a mess.'

And that was saying something for a prince who was practically in a multidimensional, royal, and heavenly mess all at once.

Ok, it wasn't that big of a mess here. But compared to the timeframe he was gone for and the size of the offender, it was definitely something.

He had returned with the intention of getting some solace. Maybe take the dejected thing on his lap and pat it until both of them felt better. For emotional support. Mostly for himself.

But what he got was chaos.

Reis didn't know what to say to the dirt-covered furball. Or how to get it unclawed from his pants.

More than that, the prince was unsure if he had picked up a cat or an actual spoiled child. Pre-spoiled. He had done no spoiling for the past two days other than letting it sleep whenever, wherever. Giving it food didn't count since it was a basic need.
