The next morning, the sun was bright and warm. It shined on the bed where Kei and Fay were sleeping.
Kei woke up first. She felt a weight on her arm and realized she wasn't on the couch. She was in the big bed and Fay was sleeping right next to her. Fay's head was resting on Kei's shoulder. Her long hair was messy on the pillow and she looked very peaceful.
Kei stayed very still. She didn't want to wake Fay up. She looked at Fay's face the same face that was so serious when reading doctor books yesterday and felt her heart melt.
(She is so beautiful) Kei thought.
Slowly, Fay opened her eyes. She looked confused for a second, then she remembered where she was. She didn't move away.
Instead, she hugged Kei's arm tighter and groaned.
"Is it morning already?" Fay asked with a sleepy voice.
"Yes,"
Kei whispered.
"The sun is up."
Fay lifted her head and smiled a little.
"Wanna make breakfast together? Hmm?....."

.
They went to the kitchen together. They didn't even need to talk much. Kei cooked the rice and eggs, and Fay made the coffee and sliced some mangoes.
Every time they walked past each other, they touched shoulders or hands. It felt natural and sweet.
"So,"
Kei said as they sat down to eat.
"What should we do today? More studying?"
Fay took a sip of her coffee and said.
" I saw some jet ski the other day. It looks fun"
Kei's eyes widened.
"Jet skis? Oh, it's on!"

A little later, they were at the pier. They wore bright orange life vests. They looked like two big oranges, which made them laugh.
"I can do this!"
Kei said as she sat on the driver's seat.
"I've seen this in movies. You just twist the handle and go!"
Fay climbed on behind Kei. She wrapped her arms very tight around Kei's waist.
"Kei, be careful. As a doctor, I'm telling you, don't be crazy."
"Trust me, Dr. Fay! I'm a pro!"
Kei twisted the handle.
VROOM!
"KEI! SLOW DOWN!"
Fay screamed, but she was laughing at the same time.
It was totally chaotic.
Kei wanted to show off, so she made a very sharp turn. The jet ski tilted and a huge wave of salty water splashed them. They were both soaking wet in seconds. Fay screamed and held onto Kei like her life depended on it.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!.....WHAHAHAHAHAHA....." Kei shouted, laughing loudly.
"TURN! YOU'RE GOING TO HIT SOMETHING!"
Kei pulled the handles hard and the jet ski spun in a circle.
"WAHHHHHHHHHH!"
They weren't riding smoothly, they were bouncing over the waves like a ball.
"YOU'RE SO DEAD KEI!!!"
Finally, Kei slowed down in the middle of the blue sea. Both of them were dripping wet, hair messy and breathing hard from laughing so much.
"Ha.....haaaa...ha....."
Fay leaned her head on Kei's wet shoulder.
"You are… the worst driver ever," she panted.
Kei turned around to look at Fay. Her heart was full of love.
"But did you have fun?"
Fay looked into Kei's eyes. She saw the love there and she didn't try to hide her own anymore. She reached up and pushed a wet hair away from Kei's forehead.
"Yes,"
Fay whispered.
"I had a lot of fun."
"What did you say?" Kei said
"It was nothing"
They sat there on the water, bobbing up and down, feeling very happy to be together in the middle of the sea.
