"Bastian, please! You have to listen to me!"
Sienna was on her knees in front of Bastian's desk, tears streaming down her face. This time, the tears were real. She knew she had messed up.
"It was just a prank!" Sienna sobbed, clutching the hem of his trousers. "I didn't know she was afraid of the dark! I just wanted to scare her a little bit because she disrespected me! She kissed you!"
Bastian sat in his leather chair, looking down at her with an expression of absolute indifference. He pulled his leg away from her grasp.
"Stand up," he ordered. "You look pathetic."
Sienna scrambled to her feet, wiping her eyes. "Bastian, baby, don't let that brat ruin us. We're the power couple. The press will forget about this in a week."
"The press isn't my concern," Bastian said, his voice low and dangerous. "My concern is that my lead actress is a liability."
He stood up and walked to the window, staring out at the studio lot.
