( PH 2)
The page didn't turn immediately.
Anie's fingers stayed where they were.
resting on the edge her breathing had slowed but not fully.
"Right?"
It lingered not like a question like something unfinished.her eyes lowered again then slowly she turned the page.
The sound felt louder this time,
[Diary Entry — Sam]:
It's happening more often now.
The handwriting looked the same but something in the pressure had changed.slightly deeper that feeling a pause.
That feeling, a pause,I keep telling myself it's nothing.
But it doesn't go away.
But it doesn't go awayAnie's grip tightened slightly.she leaned forward a little reading slower now.
[Flashback Begins]:
Morning the classroom looked the same.same desks same light same noise.but something felt different not visibly not clearly.
Just underneath everything sam sat in her usual seat.but she wasn't leaning back today she sat straight.her fingers tapping lightly on the desk not rhythmically unfocused.
"Sam?"Anie's voice pulled her back she turned,"…yeah?",,
"You didn't reply to my message last night."a pause sam blinked,"…I saw it."
"Then why didn't you reply?"another pause,"…I forgot."Anie frowned slightly.
"You never forget."Sam gave a small smile."First time for everything."
But it didn't feel like her usual smile.
not fully not completely there the class continued.notes were written words were spoken.but Sam's attention
wasn't steady her eyes shifted more often.not to anything specific just
moving.as if checking something without knowing what.
[Diary Entry — Sam]:
I couldn't sleep properly.
The words were written closer together now.
Every time I close my eyes,
The sentence stopped then continued on the next line.
It feels like I'm missing something.
Anie's eyebrows tightened missing something.the same feeling she had
now.
[Flashback Continues]:,
Afternoon the corridor was less crowded.classes had ended early tudents were leaving.sam walked beside Anie, but slower than usual.
"…you're quiet today."Anie said,"No, I'm not.",,"You are."a pause."…just tired.""You didn't sleep?"sam hesitated."…not really."Anie looked at her,concern visible now.
"You should rest."Sam nodded.but her eyes weren't on Anie.they shifted again
behind a quick glance,nothing .
"…did you hear that?"anie stopped.
"Hear what?"sam stayed still for a second.listening but now there was nothing.
"…nothing." she shook her head slightly, "forget it."
[Diary Entry — Sam] :
I thought I heard something again.
The writing was less steady now,
But when I checked, a pause.
there was nothing there.
Anie's breathing grew slightly heavier.
because this time It wasn't just a feeling. It was becoming something else.
[Flashback] :,
Evening sam's room lights off only the faint glow from outside.she sat on her bed still.
listening her phone lay beside her screen dark.her fingers were slightly curled not relaxed tense.the room was quiet too quiet then a sound soft.almost like movement.not clear, not loud but there sam's eyes shifted toward the door.
she didn't move didn't speak just
listened.the sound didn't come again
but the feeling stayed heavy,close.
"…there's nothing…"
She whispered but her voice didn't sound convinced.
[Diary Entry — Sam]:
It's not just a feeling anymore.
The words were pressed harder now.
I know something is there.
a pause,longer than the others.
I just can't see it.
Anie froze her eyes stayed locked on that line.because this time It wasn't uncertain.
It wasn't questioning it was knowing.
Her fingers slowly moved to the next page.but again she stopped because her heart was beating faster now.
As if it already understood the next part
wouldn't be small anymore.the room around her felt different quieter.
Colder and for a brief moment Anie had a strange feeling.as if she wasn't alone in the room.she turned slightly nothing,
but still that feeling didn't leave.
Her hand tightened around the diary.
and this time she didn't hesitate she turned the page...,
