Mark just stood there at the corner of the living room, watching us interact with each other. "So, everyone is here. Thank you, Mark." Yeshua said as soon as He arrived in the living room with a smile. "I would like to address something," Said Yeshua then Mark began walking away, making us look at him and Yeshua followed our gaze. "Mark, where are you going?" Asked Yeshua as He turned around to face him.
Mark stopped walking and faced Yeshua as well. "I don't want to invade Your privacy with Your students, Teacher." Mark answered firmly. "I still consider you as my student, Mark, and nothing will ever change that," Yeshua said to Mark with a smile. Huh. I wonder what happened between You two, Yeshua.
Mark sighed then walked back to where he was standing before. But Yeshua gestured him to come closer, and so he did and Mark is now standing at the end of the other sofa. "Now, as you all witnessed tonight what happened to Maria," began Yeshua with the elephant in the room. I brought my knees closer to my chest, hugged my legs and looked down the floor because of shame.
"Nobody wants that to happen. But one caused it." Continued Yeshua, making me look back at Him and focus only on Him. "The bartender." Said Simon. Yeshua looked at him then shook His head in disagreement. "But Maria told us it was the bartender." Andrew. "Correction. She told us that 'it was not the bartender himself but the adversary'." Corrected Matthew, making Andrew and Simon look at him with disbelief while I looked at him with a smile on my face. I can always count on you, Matthew.
"Thank you, Matthew." Yeshua thanked him with a smile, Matthew smiled back at Him. "But what does that mean, Teacher?" Asked Thomas. "It was Satan himself who caused it." Answered Mark while crossing his arms and only looking at Yeshua. "That is correct. And he won't stop until he takes every soul that he can get, especially the ones closer to Abba and I." Yeshua said. Does that mean… I am close to You and Abba? Yeshua looked at me and nodded in response.
Then I heard the boys murmuring with each other, "Who is Abba, Teacher?" Asked Jaime, Yeshua looked at him. "Abba is the Aramaic word for 'father'. And God is our Father and we are His children," answered Yeshua as He pointed up with His finger. "Our Heavenly Father," said Jude with a smile. "Yes," Yeshua said with a smile.
"What do You want us to do then, Teacher?" Asked Simon. Yeshua then looked at him and answered, "I want you to listen carefully. Feed your spirit with the words of Abba. Let your flesh starve. Trus-"
Yeshua then looked at their faces, "Why do you look like that?" Asked Yeshua. I know that He knows why but He wants to hear it from them. "Teacher… 'let your flesh starve'?" John asked while looking at Yeshua with concern. "Do You mean literally or metaphorically?" Asked Matthew while looking at Yeshua confusedly.
Yeshua chuckled. "Metaphorically, Matthew. What I meant is to let yourselves starve from worldly desires for You are not of the world, but of the Father." Yeshua answered as He looked at each one of us. "You all must be prepared when the time comes."
