Chapter 26 - | Veil

And Sunday arrived. The six of us — Matthew, John, Jaime, Simon, Andrew and me — attended the Holy Mass with our families. Yeshua attended as well and He is seated at the far back corner, as if making Himself invincible to others.

When it was time to bless the bread and wine, I watched the priest as he did so and… and… "The veil is lifted up from you. Now, you will see what actually happens."

"This is my body which will be given up for you and for many," as the priest blesses the Holy Eucharist and all of us are kneeling, I… I think I just saw the crucified body of Christ lifted up. I… I've-I've never experienced this before…

"This is my blood which is poured out for you and for many," and as the priest blesses the wine, I… I saw blood and water pouring out of the body of Christ after a roman soldier pierced His side. Tears are now on the edge of my eyes. So this is what it really is like to believe.

It was time now to receive the Holy Eucharist, we all fell in line according to the order of the rows where we were seated. All of us, except Yeshua because He is nowhere to be found.

This is the very first time I am receiving the Holy Eucharist now that God — Adonai, is transforming me into someone He woven me to become.

"The body of Christ."

"Amen." I replied and I received the Holy Eucharist with my left hand and ate it with my right hand. This… Tears came rushing down my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. I quickly looked for Yeshua as I walked back to where me and my family were sitting but I failed to see Him due to my teary eyes. "You'll see Him after." I sighed as I kept on walking and then I kneeled again when I'm back on our seats.

Oh, Abba… I-I don't know what to say… I want to thank you for preserving my life. I am not worthy, after all that I've said and done to You, Abba, I do not deserve Your mercy and grace, "But with Yeshua the Messiah," but with Yeshua the Messiah… You transformed me into someone You've already written before I was even created. I am grateful, Abba. "Surrender," I surrender my life to You.

Tears still rolling down my eyes and thank goodness my family did not notice it. "Welcome home," I am home.
