Chapter 30 - Whirlpool Empire cap 30

As the 5 days were about to end, everyone waited to see what would happen.

Will the three major countries bow down?

And if they don't, will the Uzumaki clan attack?

Everyone now knew the strength of the Uzumaki clan.

Not only did they have the only ninja god in the world, but they also had a powerful army that defeated the land of water.

Of course, the land of water could not be compared to the other great countries, much less combined, but no one could say for sure that the Uzumaki clan was any less strong with Gin Uzumaki present.

When the 5 days were over, everyone got their answer.

The court of each country did not announce whether it agreed or disagreed with the terms, therefore the initiative was now in the hands of the Uzumaki clan.

Will the Uzumaki clan choose to go to war with the three countries?

It wasn't just small villages and countries that were eagerly awaiting it.

But also the Daimyo of the 3 great countries and the ninjas of their villages.

After all, they too will have to participate in the war if the Daimyo requires it.

After all, they receive funding every year and must fight for the country when necessary.

In the land of wind, the Third Kazekage gathered the village elders and the monks of the wind temple.

Although the ninjas of the Sand Village were ready to fight, they did not believe that the Land of Whirlpools would invade a desert country like theirs.

What would the country gain from their whirlwind?

Although they had certain mineral resources, an invasion would not be profitable for the whirlpool country.

So they almost ruled out an invasion by the army of the whirlpool country and prepared for any personal visit from Gin Uzumaki.

Although Gin Uzumaki was powerful, as powerful as Hashirama Senju and Uchiha Madara, they were ninjas and did not expect to fight head-on.

But since they were no match for Gin Uzumaki, how did they expect to defeat him?

Over the years, numerous techniques have been created, and among them are the techniques of sacrifice.

These sacrificial techniques worked by willingly sacrificing a life to trap or kill someone more powerful.

In this case, Gin Uzumaki.

It is because of these techniques that wars are usually not fought to the extreme, since the losing side will not mind dying alongside its opponent if it has no way out.

The Third Kazekage discussed this with the village elders and they all agreed.

For this purpose, they prepared dozens of sand ninjas willing to sacrifice themselves to kill Gin Uzumaki.

And everyone must be willing to die voluntarily, as this could affect the matrix of seals that will unite everyone's sacrifice to cast a death curse upon Gin Uzumaki.

It wasn't just the Sand Village that was preparing this. The Rock and Lightning countries were too.

They all prepared ninjas willing to die and left this in the hands of the monks of the temples of each country.

The Temples of Wind, Temple of Lightning, and Temple of Earth.

Temples have existed since ancient times and have been part of each country's culture for hundreds of years.

They usually earn money by giving blessings to people or selling their fuinjutsu skills.

Whether they are protective barriers for wealthy civilians or working for the Daimyo of each country.

Many civilians pray every year in these temples to receive blessings and also donate money to the temples.

And it is the monks who have managed these temples for hundreds of years, slowly accumulating a great deal of power.

Not only because they are also chakra users, but also because they have these sacrificial techniques at hand.

Civilians don't think much of temples other than as monks doing good, but villagers and old families know that temples are not easily intimidated.

According to myths and certain records, temples existed before ninjas and were the reason why great countries were great countries.

And according to the myths, the temples prayed to their gods and obtained power from them, managing to launch powerful techniques that did not lose in power against the skills of the ninjas.

There were even records of monks with powers superior to ninjas, and this was a source of pride. Of course, they also felt a sense of loss because they were no longer as strong.

All these records were from antiquity and many believe that they were just myths invented by the monks themselves to increase their value.

Similarly, the temples enjoyed the favor of the Daimyo and were powerful in their own right.

Not only did they have powerful monks who were usually hired by the Daimyo to protect their palaces as bodyguards or with Fuinjutsu, but they also had the most powerful sacrificial techniques and nobody wanted to mess with them.

What about the water temple?

The monks of the land of water disappeared and everyone assumed that Gin Uzumaki acted on his own to eliminate the water temple because until now they had no information of the appearance of surviving monks.

Everyone assumed that Gin Uzumaki acted personally and quickly to prevent the monks of the water temple from having time to prepare their sacrificial techniques.

After all, these techniques took time to prepare, so everyone assumed this.

The monks of each temple also believed this, so they acted diligently to stop Gin Uzumaki, who seemed unable to tolerate the existence of these temples.

All countries had temples in their territories, praying to different gods.

But only the land of the whirlpool was an exception and had no religion in its territory.

Therefore, everyone assumed that Gin Uzumaki would not tolerate another power in his territory, such as the temples.

Therefore, the monks knew that they should help in any way they could, or Gin Uzumaki would eliminate them in the future if they did nothing today.

They were partly right.

Gin planned to eliminate them when he had the opportunity, because he had his reasons.

When the time came, the 3 villages and the 3 temples had all the sacrificial seals ready and breathed a sigh of relief and waited for the news.

Every country and village had its men watching the sea, and it would soon be known whether the country of the whirlpool would start a war.

While the uninvolved countries and villages were happy about the misfortune of the great ones, only the country of Earth was somewhat calm among the 3 great ones.

After all, if the land of the whirlpool wanted to go to war, its ships would have to sail a huge distance to reach the land of the earth.

Very different compared to the land of wind and the land of lightning, countries that can easily be invaded by ships from the land of whirlpool because the distance was not much.

Therefore, two groups of ninjas and monks protected the country's capital and the hidden village in case Gin Uzumaki appeared.

The other two countries, on the other hand, have to spend a huge amount of manpower to protect their coasts, each assembling an army of 5,000 men.

Ninjas and samurai joined forces to protect their countries, even standing side by side with mercenaries.

After all, each village had already lost a significant number of its troops, so each Daimyo gritted his teeth and spent some of his money to hire mercenaries.

The 5 days were over and everyone was on edge.

Everyone present was watching the sea and could feel their hearts beating as they waited for the appearance of huge ships on the horizon.

Although they waited an hour and saw no ship anywhere, no one dared to let their guard down and they continued to watch.

But the hours passed and no ship appeared even when the sun hid itself.

While many were happy and began to insult the redheads, calling them cowards and many other things, the more cautious ones sent several explorers out to sea.

The figures of the explorers receded into the distance and their shapes began to disappear into the sea.

While they waited anxiously, another hour passed until the explorers returned and shook their heads.

While the ninjas and samurai breathed a sigh of relief, the mercenaries clicked their teeth because they wouldn't make any money.

While a few began to celebrate, the high command quickly sent the information back to their villages or to their countries' capitals.

What none of them knew was that several kilometers up high there were enormous ships floating in the air.

Without any force holding them in the air, these ships seemed unaffected by gravity.

With 45 ships in total, the 3 countries had 15 of these ships above them without any of them noticing.
