Chapter 170 - How to Evolve into a Saint

While Suzuki and Shizu were lost in their own heated, intimate world inside the tent, Anrietta stood guard outside. She leaned against the wooden frame, her pointed ears twitching as she caught the unmistakable, breathy sounds of pleasure drifting through the fabric. She sighed, her arms crossed beneath her chest, a mix of grumbling frustration and undeniable heat pooling in her lower belly.

As she hesitated, debating whether to aggressively interrupt or patiently wait her turn, she caught sight of a familiar figure lingering in the shadows: Lilina, the beautiful Goblina who had already spent an unforgettable night with Suzuki.

Anrietta stared at the Goblina for a moment, a wicked idea forming. "You. Come here."

"Ah, um, yes!" Lilina hurried over.

Even though Lilina had evolved into a high-tier monster with a breathtakingly curvy figure, Anrietta was still a powerful Elven assassin and Suzuki's official "secretary." Naturally, Lilina maintained a respectful submissiveness.

"You wait right here and keep watch, okay? I'm going inside." Anrietta couldn't suppress the dangerously lewd, hungry smile that spread across her lips. Without waiting for a response, she slipped through the tent flaps, leaving the Goblina alone in the cool night air.

"..."

Lilina stood frozen. Her speechless shock quickly melted into a heavy, flushed frustration as the sounds from inside escalated. Anrietta's sweet, sultry moans joined the chorus, completely impossible to ignore. Lilina grounded her teeth, her thighs squeezing tightly together.

"What a bitch..."

She couldn't help but let her true, jealous personality leak out. If it were any of the male Hobgoblins acting up, she would have ruthlessly scolded them—she held a high administrative position in the village, after all. She possessed genuine talent for management, and she knew helping organize the village was the best way to support both Rimuru and Suzuki.

But right now? All her administrative logic evaporated. She just wanted to go inside and join the pile!

She knew she had to keep watch. Whatever wild, degenerate things were happening inside that tent were strictly for VIPs only. She wouldn't let anyone interrupt them. Yet, undeniably...

I want to join in!

Just as she was desperately wondering how to justify abandoning her post—

"Lilina? What are you doing out here in the dark?"

Lilina snapped her head up to see Haruna approaching. Haruna was part of the very first generation of goblins Rimuru had named. While Lilina managed the administration, Haruna handled food production.

Lilina had to admit, she was fiercely jealous of Haruna's devastatingly womanly body. Haruna gave off the impression of a pure, innocent, domestic maiden, yet she possessed the obscenely plush, soft curves of a succubus. It was the kind of body that made men instinctively lean forward just to hide their biological reactions.

But Lilina also knew Haruna was incredibly trusting. And surely, Suzuki wouldn't do anything to corrupt the painfully innocent Haruna... right?

"Haruna, I have a very important job for you," Lilina said, grabbing the busty Goblina's hands.

"Eh?"

"Stand guard right here. Don't let anyone in."

Before the thoroughly confused Haruna could ask any questions, Lilina eagerly slipped through the tent flaps, disappearing into the dim, heated interior.

Haruna tilted her head, her large, doll-like eyes blinking in pure innocence as she listened to the sudden, ecstatic squeal Lilina let out the second she got inside.

Wow... Suzuki-sama must really need a lot of people to take care of him, Haruna thought, her heart swelling with sympathy.

After all, Suzuki had been caught in the blazing, apocalyptic heat of the Ifrit incident yesterday. He must be terribly injured!

As expected of Rimuru-sama's best friend, Haruna nodded to herself, entirely misinterpreting the situation. Suzuki hadn't killed Shizu; he had heroically saved her from the torment of the Fire Spirit. What a wonderful, enduring young man! I'm so glad Lilina and the others are working so hard to give him his physical therapy!

"Hnh~!"

"Oh?" Haruna smiled brightly as she heard Lilina's high-pitched, incredibly pleasant voice echoing from the tent. It sounded like Lilina really enjoyed her nursing duties, and Suzuki was clearly a very cooperative patient!

Regardless of the sheer, exhausted mess left behind in the tent, Suzuki bounced back the next morning. He stepped out into the sunlight radiating full, unbothered energy, leaving the utterly drained trio—Shizu, Anrietta, and Lilina—safely tucked away in the extra-dimensional comfort of his Penthouse to recover their stamina.

With his "therapy" concluded, Suzuki tracked down Rimuru to announce his departure back to the Blumund Kingdom.

"You're actually going back?!" Rimuru looked up at him, his featureless slime body practically drooping with sadness.

"Yup." Suzuki replied, showing absolutely zero hesitation or sorrow.

"..."

"HOW COLD! WON'T YOU EVEN MISS ME?! ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO LEAVE ME HERE TO HANDLE ALL THIS CITY PLANNING ALONE?!"

"What are you being such a baby for? You literally have a supercomputer Unique Skill in your head to do all the heavy lifting, right?"

"..."

Rimuru couldn't argue. While the [Great Sage] wasn't exactly a physical being, it possessed an AI-like autonomy, and Rimuru frequently relied on it to survive.

"But what are you even planning to do?" Rimuru asked, genuinely curious about Suzuki's grand strategy.

"What else? I'm going to do business."

It was a half-truth. Suzuki fully intended to dump all the actual grueling corporate labor onto his hired subordinates and the [Manager], but he definitely wasn't going to admit that to Rimuru. If Rimuru knew Suzuki was just going to slack off in Blumund, the slime would absolutely beg him to stay and help govern Tempest.

"...Okay, fine," Rimuru sighed, bouncing slightly. "C-Can I at least come visit your place sometime?"

"Sure."

"EH?! REALLY?! BUT I'M A MONSTER!"

"So what?" Suzuki shrugged. "Though, traveling into human territory with your current slime body will be quite a political headache."

"Well..." Rimuru sighed again, wondering if he would ever find a way to mimic a human form.

Suzuki looked down at the depressed slime and smirked. "Just wait for me to evolve into a Saint."

"What?"

"When I officially evolve into a Saint, I'll probably unlock the conceptual authority to forge a human body for you."

"R-REALLY?!" Rimuru was completely dumbfounded, looking up at Suzuki with sparkling, starry-eyed hope.

"It won't be easy. Ascending to Sainthood requires a massive accumulation of energy and time—"

"I CAN WAIT!"

Rimuru would wait a hundred years if he had to! Compared to the grim alternative of having to devour a human corpse just to gain a mimicry form, waiting for Suzuki to hit the next evolution tier was a godsend. Plus, if Suzuki had managed to hit the Enlightened stage on his very first day in this world, becoming a Saint was practically guaranteed.

"Okay. Just wait for me," Suzuki smiled, extending his fist.

"Yeah! I'll wait!"

The two Japanese transmigrators shared a triumphant fist bump, laughing together in the morning sun.

Yet, Rimuru had absolutely no idea how Suzuki planned to gather the "energy" required to evolve into a Saint.

"..."

"What's wrong?" Suzuki asked, noticing Rimuru suddenly freeze.

"I don't know..." Rimuru muttered, a phantom chill running through his gelatinous body. "I just have this sudden, overwhelming urge to scream 'Goddammit'."

"Why?"

"I DON'T KNOW! YOU TELL ME!"

"..."

Suzuki just coughed politely, completely ignoring the slime's terrifyingly accurate intuition.

His decision was final: he was heading back to Blumund. Before leaving, he privately handed Lilina a master key to his Penthouse. If she ever missed him—or needed some more "physical therapy"—she could simply open the door.

As Suzuki reached the edge of the village, preparing his mount, he found his path blocked by three familiar, heavily armored humans. Cabal, Elen, and Gido were staring at him with desperate, teary, puppy-dog eyes.

"PLEASE LET US FOLLOW YOU!" they begged in unison, bowing deeply.

"Why?"

"BECAUSE WE ARE WAY TOO WEAK TO SURVIVE THIS FOREST ALONE!"

"..."

Suzuki stared at the pathetic adventurer trio, completely speechless.

Meanwhile, across the vast, infinite expanse of the multiverse, the consciousness of the hive-mind shifted.

It was the turn of the Naruto-universe Suzuki.

His life in Konoha had become significantly easier lately. Through a series of highly calculated, manipulative events, he had successfully positioned himself to be chosen as the direct disciple of the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!

A shockwave ripped through the training grounds, vaporizing the surrounding forest and sending a massive plume of smoke high into the sky above the Hidden Leaf Village.

Sarutobi Hiruzen stood at the edge of the crater, his iconic pipe slipping from his slack jaw. The God of Shinobi could only stare in utter paralysis, dumbfounded shock at the sheer destruction caused by the evolved jutsu Suzuki had just unleashed.
