Chapter 57 - Now and Begin! (Jujutsu Kaisen)

A week had passed since that day, and Suzuki had been training his new technique and trying to master various other things, including the martial arts, physics, and mathematics, as well as improving his technique.

"So, are you sure that you want to go to the home now?" Mai asked curtly, yet her face clearly showed the worry she could not hide.

Maki didn't say anything, but she had been polishing her weapon, and clearly would follow him, whatever Suzuki's decision might be.

"I do." Suzuki nodded. "You have seen my power, right?"

His decision remained the same, as he knew that to change everything, he had to become the head of the Zenin Clan.

If he were still a member of this clan, even if he was the son of the clan head, it was meaningless, as it was impossible to change anything.

More importantly, the law of his clan was simple: the strongest got everything, yet at the same time, the weak were trampled.

It was a harsh and cruel clan, yet this was also the reason why this clan was simple for him to manage, since the bigger his fist was, the more his words were everyone's law, no matter what they said.

Suzuki had many things he wanted to do, and he had enough to be treated like an alien and live like those ancient men in the modern world!

To change everything, he had to become the clan head!

This was his first step, yet he had to say that he knew well that his King Crimson-like ability, also known as the Frame Deletion, alone wasn't enough.

Yes, the Frame Deletion might be powerful, as it enabled him to appear from point A to point B instantly, as if he teleported, yet he still carried the momentum of his speed, which allowed him to deliver a punch with the force of a missile.

How did it happen?

F=ma

The net force on a body is equal to the body's acceleration multiplied by its mass.

The greater the acceleration, the greater the force, even though his mass was the same.

It was like how a small pebble wouldn't hurt when it was thrown by a baby, but became a killing weapon when a legendary pitcher threw it.

What was even greater was the fact that as he skipped the process of reaching the destination by using his copycat of King Crimson, he did not need to face all of the drags, such as air resistance, and all the frictions.

The only problem with the speedster type of fighter was friction, which acted like drag and slowed them down as they got faster, since the faster they went, the greater their resistance became.

If he made a comparison, it was like a meteor, the size of a mountain, burning up in the Earth's atmosphere as its speed grew faster and faster, till, in the end, it became the size of a pebble.

Whether it was his father or his older brother, Naobito and Naoya Zenin, had a chance to grow faster and faster. Still, neither did they, since if they had, the air would have burned their bodies to a crisp, and this was also in the original story. When Naoya became a Cursed Spirit, he changed the shape of his body into that of an aerodynamic shape, like a jet aircraft.

However, Suzuki's Frame Deletion did not need to face such a problem, as he erased the process in which the resistance burned his body as he grew faster. He instantly appeared in front of his opponent while carrying the momentum of his own speed, at Mach or more if he wished.

Yet, he had to say that despite his body might not be hurt by the resistance from moving fast as he skipped the process of him to move, erasing all of the liabilities from moving faster, his fist, which he used to smash, naturally wouldn't be immuned as despite having himself to cover his body and fist with the Cursed Energy, his physical ability was more or less about the top athlete.

His mortal body couldn't withstand the laws of physics.

If it were a normal shounen protagonist, they would use their will and spirits to break through the law of physics, yet, as a man of logic, he knew that instead of fighting it, forcing the world into his will, which made him exert a lot of energy, and he was also hurt.

Frankly, it didn't suit his style.

Instead of fighting the laws of physics, he wanted to harness, control, and manipulate them, as Gojou could control space and apply Zeno's Paradoxes—specifically the "Achilles and the Tortoise," a mathematical concept of the infinite division of space.

Still—

'Well, that's enough for now.'

While Suzuki could have studied physics and earned a PhD at one of Japan's most prestigious universities, he knew his limitations well.

After all, unlike Gojo, who had the Six Eyes, which allowed him to see the flow of energy at an atomic level and use the Limitless technique with zero waste, Suzuki had no such eyes at all.

Yes, while many admired Gojo's "Infinity" techniques, and all the other techniques that were practically created boom, boom, boom, without his eyes, it was impossible for him to do all of that.

Suzuki had no such eyes at all, so all he could do was just manually calculate from his brain, which was frankly, so fucking damn hard!

So, without a doubt, the "Manager" was a great ability for him to have, as it automated all the calculations and troublesome tasks, so all he had to do was execute the order, and the "Manager" would automatically do all the calculations, which made him able to spam his techniques, as he wished.

Yet, once again, while the Frame Deletion was good, it was more like a survivability and utility technique.

While his punches and other physical attacks carried the speed of a missile, his body was still that of skin, muscles, and bones, rather than the carbon-carbon, graphite-epoxy, and ceramic composites of a missile.

Wait, the missile also used carbon like that of a human?

The human body might be created from carbon, but a missile's carbon is different from a human's, okay?

Regardless, Mai and Maki knew they couldn't change his mind, and while they knew Suzuki had become stronger, they couldn't help but worry, since, despite how he was, he would face the entire Zenin Clan.

Could one man fight against all the members of one of the strongest Sorcerer Clans in this country?

However—

Maki stood up, holding her weapon, and Mai gave him a gift, the thing that he had asked her to make with her construction sorcery, "Here, the weapon that you asked for."

"Thanks, Mai."

Suzuki accepted the weapon, which was necessary, as he knew it was clear that, to make his attack even more threatening, he needed one. What was his weapon? A tungsten spike.
