He lay with his head resting on Rami's broad, muscular chest, listening to the steady thud of his heartbeat from beneath one of the brightly-patterned blankets, his fingers idly tracing the curve of the Zenian band clasped around Rami's wrist.
And now, wrapped in the drowsy, comforting afterglow, Kai's curiosity was creeping back in the way it always did when Rami was lying next to him, soft and pliant in a way that was only his right to see.
Kai huffed, pushing himself upright to glare at him, "This is ridiculous, it's been over a year." He pouted, unable to help himself.
