Kai took the offer to wash up and switched off the heat rune to allow the water to run cold.
Gasping when the icy water hit his skin he shook his head and lightly slapped the side of his face, "Keep it in your pants, Kaius. At least for an hour or so. Let him be cute for you, dammit." He admonished himself out loud.
When he had thoroughly scrubbed every inch of his skin, he swiftly dressed into clothes that Rami had neatly folded on the shelf for him and smiled lightly.
He'd chosen comfort clothes that he knew Kai liked, loose fitting trousers held up with a loose gold string and his favourite shirt of off-white silk.
'Damn, he's not making this easy.'
Taking a few deep, calming breaths, Kai ran his fingers through his damp hair and stepped back inside.
