Chapter 105 - Sky Eagle’s New Heavenly King: Sirius

Arrival in Antarctica — Heavenly Kings' Opportunities, Intercepted in Bulk**

Looking at Yanhuang outside the window, Victor Stone stood frozen.

He genuinely hadn't expected that the Pokémon that looked vaguely like an Arcanine—

would turn out to be a god-tier existence.

And Yanhuang, noticing Victor's stunned expression, didn't bother restraining himself anymore.

His divine power was released without suppression.

In an instant—

The sky was dyed crimson.

Endless fire-attributed energy surged toward Yanhuang like a tide, gathering around him in roaring spirals.

That unmistakable aura of a true god spread outward.

The entire estate was shaken.

Every Pokémon within the manor reacted immediately.

Metagross, Garchomp, Gliscor—Pokémon Ethan had left in the garden—rushed over at once.

Yanhuang's aura was familiar to them; seeing him unleash his power so openly, they instinctively assumed something serious had happened.

Other Pokémon, those not belonging to Ethan, were far less composed.

Under the pressure of an unfamiliar divine presence, they trembled uncontrollably.

Even the Ice Lord, Mamoswine, couldn't help but stiffen.

Mamoswine was strong—strong enough to fight evenly with the Dragon Lord of Cloud Mountain Dragon Valley.

But in front of Yanhuang…

He instinctively yielded.

The gap was simply too vast.

For a moment, Mamoswine even doubted whether Yanhuang was a being that should exist in reality at all.

Victor Stone was just as shaken.

If he had still harbored any doubts about Ethan's words earlier—

they were completely erased now.

Yanhuang's presence alone was terrifying to an unreasonable degree.

Victor couldn't help but think:

If Yanhuang were to fight seriously…

Could he wipe out an entire small nation on his own?

"Yanhuang, put your power away," Ethan said calmly.

"If you keep this up, you'll set the whole estate on fire."

Yanhuang laughed and obediently withdrew his divine energy.

With that, Victor finally accepted a reality he never thought he'd face—

his son had already reached a level even he could no longer fully comprehend.

There was no jealousy in his heart.

Only relief.

Because the stronger Ethan was, the safer he would be.

Victor never wanted Ethan to dominate the world.

He just wanted his son to live a stable, peaceful life.

After Ethan revealed both his psychic power and Yanhuang's existence, Victor stopped saying anything unnecessary.

As for the Ice Lord Mamoswine, Victor didn't recall him.

Instead, he let Mamoswine continue acting as Ethan's bodyguard.

According to Victor, Mamoswine had once lived in Antarctica.

Though that was over a hundred years ago, Antarctica itself barely changed over centuries.

So Victor asked Mamoswine to serve as a guide as well.

Under normal circumstances, Mamoswine would've refused outright.

A dignified Ice Lord acting as a guide for a teenager?

That would've been humiliating among Totem-level beings.

But now—

Mamoswine remained silent.

And even seemed willing.

Because if Ethan was truly involved…

Then perhaps they could venture into the deepest forbidden zone of Antarctica.

And if he could reach that place—

Mamoswine might, in this lifetime, glimpse the threshold of godhood himself.

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye.

Over international waters, high in the sky—

Ethan sat atop Metagross, speeding southward.

Beside him, Li Yao stared at the scenery flashing past and couldn't help but exclaim,

"Brother Ethan, how did you raise this Metagross?"

"Everyone says Metagross are slow."

"But yours… this is insane."

"This speed's practically hypersonic!"

As a Steel-type specialist, Li Yao had always dreamed of raising a Metagross.

Unfortunately, Metagross were far too rare.

Being genderless inorganic Pokémon, their reproduction was extremely difficult, and modern breeding science still hadn't solved the issue.

So Li Yao could only envy Ethan.

Ethan chuckled.

"He just worked hard."

"Right, Metagross?"

Metagross let out a pleased hum and continued flying.

Originally, the Alliance had planned to send them by aircraft.

But Antarctica was currently in polar night, with unstable magnetic fields and chaotic air currents.

Flying planes there was practically suicide.

So both Heavenly Kings chose to fly on their own Pokémon.

Li Yao did have a Corviknight, but—

its speed left much to be desired.

To save time, Ethan simply gave him a ride.

Only after boarding Metagross did Li Yao realize just how outrageous its speed was.

Calling it wind and lightning wouldn't be an exaggeration.

Metagross could go even faster—

but Ethan's psychic barrier couldn't yet fully withstand higher hypersonic speeds.

At those velocities, even a psychic like Ethan would be torn apart.

So Metagross maintained a steady Mach 5 under a protective barrier.

While flying, the two chatted casually.

"Oh, right," Li Yao said.

"Have you heard?"

"The Sky Eagle Alliance recently appointed a new Heavenly King."

"And guess what—he's nineteen too. Same age as you."

Ethan blinked.

"Really?"

"They also have someone my age?"

Li Yao burst out laughing.

"What, feeling pressured?"

"If you are, you'll be disappointed."

"That kid's basically a nobody."

"I'd never even heard his name before."

"Looks like they pushed him up just to prove they also have a prodigy like you."

Ethan frowned slightly.

"So you think he's fake?"

Li Yao nodded.

"Name's Sirius Morgan."

"He's the heir of the Morgan family, one of Sky Eagle's top three clans."

"Never stood out in any global competitions."

"Didn't even show up during your Five-Star Pro Exam."

"But the moment you became a Heavenly King?"

"They shoved him into Alicia's vacant seat."

Ethan's brow furrowed.

Sirius…

The name sounded familiar.

At that moment, Metagross sent a mental message.

"Boss, back on Sea Cliff Island."

"That Sky Eagle academy trio—one of them was named Sirius."

Ethan's memory clicked.

A western noble-looking youth.

Owner of a Kommo-o.

He'd passed out from a single roar of Baxcalibur.

"…So it really is him."

Li Yao laughed loudly.

"Then he really is a counterfeit."

"But you robbing those western kids back then?"

"Beautifully done."

"These guys only behave after getting beaten."

Two hours later—

A vast, white continent appeared below.

"Already Antarctica?!" Li Yao exclaimed.

"You're incredible, Metagross!"

Before Li Yao could pull out a map, Ethan smiled.

"No need."

"Metagross—scan northern Antarctica with psychic power. Locate the gathering point."

Metagross complied instantly.

A terrifying psychic wave swept across northern Antarctica.

Inside the northern camp, a technician sipping tea froze as alarms blared.

"Warning! Warning!"

"Ultra–Champion-level energy detected!"

"Prepare defensive measures!"

His face went pale.

Ultra-Champion?

Totem-level?!

He immediately sounded the camp alarm.

One by one, Heavenly Kings rushed out, releasing their Pokémon.

Antarctica was mysterious—and dangerous.

Then—

A massive silver figure descended from the sky like a UFO.

BOOM!

It slammed into the snowfield.

Before anyone could react, two figures jumped down.

A relaxed voice rang out:

"Wow, such a warm welcome for the Donghuang Heavenly Kings?"

"Haha, you're making me embarrassed."

As the snow settled, Ethan and Li Yao came into view.

And in that instant—

Ethan's system went berserk.
