Chapter 265 - Chapter 64: Amazing Device!

Anck-Su-Namun opened her eyes.

Like someone who had been suffocating for a long time, or like a baby's first cry, her lungs filled with air; she took a deep breath, her eyes wide, grasping the man's arms with both hands.

"Ah..."

"Anck-Su-Namun," Imhotep called softly.

"Anck-Su-Namun, you're back."

The woman's dazed eyes gradually cleared with Imhotep's repeated calls. She moved her eyeballs, scanning the surrounding environment.

"Im...ho...tep."

A chill lingered between her lips and teeth, and her heart had not yet transmitted the warmth of the living to her fingertips. Imhotep, whose cheek was being caressed by her hand, immediately covered his lover's hand with his own large one.

"It's me. You're back, my love." The man knelt before Anck-Su-Namun, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled the woman into his embrace.

"You are free."

Anck-Su-Namun's tall eyebrows and eyes lacked their former charm. Three millennia of suffering in the Underworld had stripped away her innocence, replacing it with heroism and cold glamour.

"Imhotep." The woman called her lover's name repeatedly. Out of the corner of her eye, Mori Tsukisa was peering around, waving at her.

"Hi! Ann!"

Ann?

Anck-Su-Namun leaned on Imhotep and shakily stood up. She looked at her body, then at the surrounding environment. Finally, she turned to Mori Tsukisa: "Who... are you?"

"I am Mori Tsukisa."

"A commoner?" Anck-Su-Namun said with a cold face, glancing at Imhotep, speaking in confusion: "My love, why didn't you use this woman's body to welcome my rebirth?"

Imhotep: You dare to think that.

It seemed Anck-Su-Namun was quite jealous of Mori Tsukisa's appearance and figure. The woman's cold eyes repeatedly wandered between the girl's eyes and chest... then she looked at her own body.

A little shrimp.

Nagini leisurely removed the satin fan from her coiled hair and set it aside; not far away, a group of armored Silver Knights stood faintly, led by Arrietty, ready and waiting—it seemed that with just one command, this group of assassins hidden in the shadows would swarm out.

Only if Anck-Su-Namun spoke one more word.

Sure enough, the newly resurrected woman did not notice the look in her lover's eyes—and her lover had clearly forgotten that a newly awakened soul could only possess a confused, not-yet-clear consciousness: while he gazed lovingly at the woman, Anck-Su-Namun's chaotic thoughts could not accurately analyze the current situation.

She was like someone who had a long, endless black dream. Before closing her eyes, she faced the group of ferocious Pharaoh's guards; after opening her eyes, a strangely dressed girl stood before her.

A profound sense of disorientation filled the woman's mind.

"Who exactly are you?" Anck-Su-Namun looked at Mori Tsukisa. She could vaguely sense her lover's panic... perhaps she was a princess?

Imhotep was serving a princess, and for this, his request was granted: after paying an unknown price, he was permitted to bring his soul back to the World of the living... which is why the girl in front of her said, 'I resurrected you.'

Is that it?

"I am a Planeswalker, Walker of All Realms, a being who travels the Multiverse."

"Your Majesty the Queen..."

Arrietty grinned, the shining tip of her rapier pointing directly at Imhotep.

Imhotep was sweating profusely.

"No! Your Excellency the Mage! I will apologize to you on behalf of Anck-Su-Namun! Please allow me to explain first..."

Mori Tsukisa shook her head and pushed Nagini back.

"Wait for me."

"Master?"

Mori Tsukisa ran over, skipping and hopping with her hands behind her back, under Imhotep's nervous gaze—stopping in front of Anck-Su-Namun.

The newly resurrected woman was completely bewildered. She lowered her head, looking at the 'Princess' who only reached her chin and was curiously examining her from left to right.

Short and frail... Is she really a princess?

She wondered what price Imhotep had paid. Hopefully, not the kind she was imagining. After all, some princesses have certain hobbies... As she thought this, she noticed Mori Tsukisa puff out her chest.

Anck-Su-Namun:...Hateful Princess.

"Your High—" Anck-Su-Namun opened her mouth, then looked anxiously at her lover: "What should I call..."

Before Imhotep could speak, Mori Tsukisa grabbed Anck-Su-Namun's arm. She curved her eyes: "Open your eyes and look at the World, Anck-Su-Namun."

The sound of glass shattering was incessant. In the sight of Imhotep and Nagini, Mori Tsukisa pulled Anck-Su-Namun and instantly vanished before their eyes... Mirror Space.

Anck-Su-Namun looked around in astonishment—it was still the same living room, the same place, but everything had changed. The ground folded and cracked, supporting a black iron throne. The girl sat there, legs crossed, chin resting on her hand, watching her quietly.

"Mage—?" Anck-Su-Namun stepped back two steps in surprise. She had seen Imhotep cast spells, but most of them leaned toward curses. Such a bizarre and fantastical mirror-like space... The closest situation Anck-Su-Namun could think of was the divine power displayed by the gods during Pharaoh Seti's annual sacrifice.

Gods and this girl... "Don't think about irrelevant things." Mori Tsukisa tilted her head, lazily pointing behind the woman: "Mirror Projection. Just look at the things I have experienced, and you'll understand."

The moment she finished speaking—

Kaleidoscope-like fragments continuously twisted, and wave-like beast roars were deafening!

The World was shattered!

The vast Universe was dark and boundless. After a meteor streaked past, it illuminated an unfamiliar Planet full of craters.

A large-nosed Witch with a face full of wrinkles quietly waved her hand: a pack of wolves turned into mushrooms.

A White Dragon rushed out of the lake, stirring up monstrous waves;

In another Universe above the Universe, a Demon sat upon a black throne, plucking stars with a single hand—the collision of Planet and Planet was silent and tragic, and billions of lives vanished in an instant... A long-haired Goddess raised her eyes gracefully.

Where her compassionate gaze fell, a massive magic array raised towering flames, and an invisible hurricane scattered flesh and blood, blowing away human organs and eyeballs, turning bones into dust.

Cities stretching as far as the eye could see, a truly imaginable Astral Plane, sunken giant ships, standard long boots studded with gems, firearms, dazzling cosmetics, court gowns, a rich and exciting... Shopping Website?

Increasingly strange things appeared one after another in Anck-Su-Namun's vision, flashing past crudely and quickly. These were all the stories Mori Tsukisa had experienced, now replaying like a movie scene by scene.

Flashing, flashing endlessly, Anck-Su-Namun was dragged and plunged into a bottomless abyss—her mind raced, yet the numbness spreading from her fingertips and toes made the woman feel as if she had lived a long lifetime within those fragmented stories.

After a long while, the images dispersed like water ripples.

The intense colors and impact left no trace in the space, as if they had never appeared.

The woman was curled up beneath the throne.

The confusion in her eyes had long faded, replaced by a complex expression as she looked at Mori Tsukisa.

"Another, World...?"

After barely managing to sit upright, the woman lowered her head and remained silent. Behind her, the kaleidoscope-like spatial fragments gradually pieced themselves back together, restoring their original appearance.

"Those things..."

"Hmm?"

Anck-Su-Namun lowered her voice, asking cautiously, "Were those... all from another World?"

Mori Tsukisa watched her quietly and nodded.

"I never imagined such a magical sight. Worlds beyond the World..." Anck-Su-Namun's cold, glamorous eyes became vacant, and she murmured, "So, we are not the only ones..."

"Of course not."

"Then..."

Mori Tsukisa found this woman to be incredibly changeable. Just moments ago, she looked proud and indifferent, but now her expression revealed the innocence and confusion of a big girl.

Coupled with her inherently cold and glamorous eyes, this sudden contrast was simply—Mori Tsukisa might understand why Seti and Imhotep loved her.

Anck-Su-Namun remained kneeling on the ground, choosing not to stand up. She raised her head and eyes, asking hopefully, "Why?"

"Why did you resurrect me?"

"Because that's what Imhotep desired. Hmm... we made a deal. I resurrect you, and you and he will forever serve as my servants and travel with me—travel, you understand?"

The girl gestured twice: "It means going to different Worlds to eat and drink."

"Although I didn't ask you before the deal, it's not too late to ask now." Mori Tsukisa idly played with her fingernails, snapping one, looking at the woman, then snapping another finger.

Nagini wasn't here to stop her.

While playing, the girl put her fingernail into her mouth: "Mmm... If you don't want to, just stay in this World with Imhotep. I don't care... it was just convenient anyway..."

"As payment for your resurrection, just give Hamunaptra to me. I believe Imhotep would be will—"

Suddenly, the unfinished sentence was interrupted by the woman's excited voice: "You! You can take Imhotep and me away? Can you spare him from the gods' punishment?"

"You can really take his soul from the Underworld?!" Anck-Su-Namun suddenly widened her eyes. As she spoke, she scrambled up from the ground using both hands and feet and grabbed the hand Mori Tsukisa had in her mouth.

Mori Tsukisa looked at her index finger, damp from being held in the woman's palm, expressionlessly switched hands, and put the other index finger back into her mouth—along with the light green Nail Polish applied to it.

Growing nails diligently would be meaningless if not for eating them.

"You can? Can you? Really?!" The woman was so nervous her lips trembled slightly: "I agree! I agree! As long as Imhotep is spared the suffering of the Underworld, I will agree to all your conditions!"

"I don't have many conditions... right?" Mori Tsukisa yawned, subtly pulling back her hand: "You can discuss the follow-up work with my Little Knight; talking about such boring things shortens one's lifespan..."

"Oh, right!" Mori Tsukisa clapped her hands, jumping down from the throne. Her sudden actions startled Anck-Su-Namun: "You were staring at that tube of Red Velvet earlier, did you like it?"

"Did you like them? The Lipsticks and High Heels?"

Anck-Su-Namun was stunned, momentarily unable to process the girl's wildly jumping thoughts, and nodded blankly: "Ah...?"

"You like them... right?"

Having reached this topic, the girl finally became energized.

She rubbed her palms together, her interest ignited as if she were preaching: "You like them! That's great. Let's talk about topics suitable for girls..."

"In my World, there is a 'mystery Device' where you can get lots and lots of new clothes and new shoes just by moving your finger..."

"As long as you want..."

"They will appear right outside your door in just a few days!"

"Hey, you think it's amazing too, right?"

"Come, let me tell you all about it."
