Chapter 6 - Six months in training

In the Great Chu Empire, specifically in the Tsang Lan region, there was a blond young man sitting cross-legged in the courtyard of General Wei Tsang Lan's own palace.

The young man had average yet ruggedly masculine features. He possessed long blond hair that extended past his shoulders, and a slender but muscular and agile body. He wore simple sleeveless clothes.

That young man was Finn Colonil.

Finn opened his sapphire-blue eyes, glowing like brilliant blue gems, then stood up and clenched his fists tightly.

A red Yuan Qi aura exploded from his body, and a single Qi Vein on his right shoulder lit up intensely with a blazing crimson glow.

Finn exhaled slowly, then smiled with overwhelming excitement.

"Finally!! I did it!! I've broken through the Eight Qi Veins Realm and opened my first vein!! Finally, after six months of brutal effort!!"

Finn spoke with intense excitement as tears of joy gathered in his eyes.

Six months.

Six months had passed since Finn arrived in this world and began his training under Wei King King and Wei Bin.

Throughout these six months, Finn trained relentlessly without rest or interruption. He worked hard, shedding sweat, blood, and tears.

He did not rest for a single day.

During this period, Finn discovered several astonishing facts.

The first fact he discovered was that he somehow resembled the cursed Finn Martinez.

Yes—Finn Martinez, the main character of Adventure Time and the hero of the Land of Ooo itself.

Finn questioned the reason for this resemblance but found no real answer. However, he strongly suspected that it was the doing of that cursed entity who had thrown him into this chaos in the first place.

Finn prayed that he would return to his original appearance when he eventually returned to his original world.

The second discovery Finn made about himself was that he possessed a terrifying regenerative ability.

Naturally, he discovered this after being brutally beaten by General Wei Tsang Lan and his soldiers, and after injuring himself with a knife on his very first day in this world.

He soon realized that his regenerative power was absurdly ridiculous. Injuries such as bone fractures healed within several days or at most a week, simply by eating meat, food, and resting.

Finn discovered that meat restored his vitality and strength at an astonishing rate and healed his wounds as well. Why? Finn had no idea.

He tried to recall whether Luffy possessed similar traits in the anime One Piece and realized that Luffy and all his crew members were stubborn insects that refused to die.

Seriously, Usopp survived a direct explosion from Mr. 4's bazooka.

All the bones in Usopp's body were shattered, yet he managed to recover within one to two weeks.

And that was Usopp's regeneration—the weakest member of the crew!!

After that, Finn stopped comparing himself to One Piece characters and stopped thinking too deeply about his ridiculous regenerative ability.

Honestly? It didn't matter, as long as it worked in his favor.

This ability greatly benefited him during training, allowing him to push himself to the absolute limit and surpass his boundaries every single time.

Because of that, Finn achieved several astonishing accomplishments.

His first and greatest achievement was his physical strength.

He had become ridiculously strong.

Not only could he easily lift one hundred kilograms, but even tons of weight had become nothing to him. His punches were powerful enough to shatter solid metal and massive rocks with ease.

Finn suspected that his physical strength now rivaled Luffy's when Luffy first set sail.

Finn's lips trembled when he thought about how absurd the situation was.

What Luffy achieved in ten years, he achieved in just six months under Wei King King's supervision.

But this became logical when considering the absurd power scale of the Yuan Zun world.

In this savage cultivation world, there existed individuals capable of destroying planets and stars with their fingers.

Meanwhile, in the One Piece world, the strongest characters could only destroy several islands at most.

Of course, Finn had not reached that level of power yet. He suspected that such strength belonged only to those in the original Alpha Realm.

His second major achievement was mastering Luffy's combat techniques—at least Luffy's early techniques from the beginning of One Piece.

Finn could now execute techniques such as:

Gomu Gomu no Pistol

Gomu Gomu no Bazooka

Gomu Gomu no Spear

Gomu Gomu no Whip

Gomu Gomu no Bell

And finally, the most difficult for him to master: Gomu Gomu no Battle Axe

However, he was unable to master certain techniques such as Gomu Gomu no Gatling, Gomu Gomu no Net, and Gomu Gomu no Balloon.

These techniques confused him, and he could not execute them properly—especially Gomu Gomu no Gatling. No matter how hard he tried to understand and apply it, it simply refused to make sense to him.

Nevertheless, mastering these techniques, combined with his increased physical strength and durability, made his combat power truly formidable.

He had already defeated several soldiers on his own.

He even managed to defeat a soldier who had opened three Qi Veins, despite not having opened a single Qi Vein himself at the time.

He accomplished all of this using only his physical strength and the rubber abilities of Luffy's Devil Fruit.

This terrified many soldiers and made them wonder what he would be capable of once his cultivation level reached theirs.

Naturally, Finn's efforts and achievements received high praise from Wei King King, but she never showed him mercy and constantly insulted him, calling him a turtle for failing to open even a single Qi Vein after months of training.

Finn smiled mockingly and shook his head in amusement when he remembered Wei King King's expression.

That girl had come to occupy a great place in Finn's heart, and he could no longer imagine a single day without her.

More importantly, Finn achieved many other notable accomplishments—chief among them was his progress in understanding the language of this world.

He could now write several words and sentences and was at least capable of reading some texts.

He was still a beginner in the language, but at least he was no longer illiterate.

Finn tried to read the mysterious crystal gifted to him by that cursed entity who dragged him into this chaos, but he understood very little of what was written.

He only managed to decipher the name of the cultivation technique.

The technique engraved within the crystal was called Primordial Chaos.

That was all he could translate.

Finn did not know the rank of this technique or its true potential. He wondered whether it could rival the Sacred Ancestral Dragon Technique of Chu Yuan.

He decided that only time would reveal the truth, and all he could do was study the language diligently and master it as soon as possible.

As for Garp's Training Records, Finn managed to translate several pages, and the results did not disappoint.

The book recorded the Marine training methods from the One Piece world—specifically Garp's training—and one of the Six Marine Techniques.

Finn attempted to merge Garp's training method with the Tsang Lan soldiers' training methods, and the results were extremely satisfying.

His physical strength and muscle growth accelerated significantly, but the pain and exhaustion doubled as well.

The technique he translated from the Rokushiki was Tekkai—a technique that hardened the body, turning the user's skin into an impenetrable armor, strengthening both offense and defense.

However, its drawback was that it rendered the body immobile.

Finn tried to train in it but failed to master it. Still, he understood its principle and believed that he would need two more months to achieve basic proficiency.

Finn's greatest victory, however, was his progress in the Star Absorption Technique.

This technique greatly aided him in absorbing Yuan Qi and enabled him to open his first Qi Vein in six months.

Finn was certain that without it, he would have needed more than a full year.

He felt bitterness and envy when he recalled that Chu Yuan opened four Qi Veins within just four months of cultivation.

Finn sighed tiredly and walked toward Wei Bin and Wei King King.

"Really?! You finally opened your first vein?!" Wei Bin exclaimed excitedly.

Finn nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! I just did it!"

"Congratulations, Finn!! You are officially a cultivator now!" Wei Bin said with a wide smile, patting Finn's shoulder forcefully.

Wei King King looked at Finn and smirked.

"You only managed to open your first vein after six months. That's way too slow. You're truly talentless."

Finn shrugged.

"What matters is that I reached the finish line. And I did it earlier than you expected—you said it would take eight months."

"Tch. Don't get cocky, brat," Wei King King said irritably, though she was secretly pleased with his achievement.

After all, he had been powerful even without cultivation, and now that he had stepped into the cultivation path, she wondered what he would become.

Finn smiled warmly at Wei King King, feeling deep gratitude toward her. Without her help, he would still be writhing on the ground like a worm.

Wei King King's smile faded, replaced by seriousness.

"Don't celebrate too much, Finn. You've only just begun your cultivation journey. There's still a lot you lack."

Finn nodded.

"I'll work hard. I won't disappoint you."

King King smiled.

"Good. Now follow me to the training ground. I'm going to teach you something fundamental and essential."

"What is it, Master?" Finn asked curiously.

She replied seriously,

"The use of Yuan Qi in combat and battle."

Finn fell silent, then looked at his hand and clenched his fist tightly, feeling the Yuan Qi flowing through his Qi Vein.

"Alright then," he said.

"I'm ready."

" Let's do this".
