Katsura spoke her first words of the meeting.

Aurelian turned to her, aware that the soft lighting of the restaurant enhanced her porcelain skin and the natural gleam of her long black hair.
"With the command unit destroyed and their coordination disrupted, the remaining smaller Omnic units retreated in a disorganized manner, and we secured the perimeter for the transport's safe arrival at the destination port before returning to Polaris for debriefing, which led me to meet the requirement for my promotion, then the awakening of my new shipgirl."
That last piece of information immediately caught all their attention.
"So it really happened," Mirei said softly.
"You have another shipgirl now?" Yelena asked.
