Chapter 65. New Folks join the tribes.
By the end of the week, our igloo was half done.
It was massive... about 5 to 7 meters wide... because the wooden molds the boys used to freeze the blocks were huge.
The bird boys had actually turned out to be useful, sometimes, Taka or the others would drop bright winter flowers into our water molds before they froze, creating gorgeous, colorful ice bricks.
"Female, look at these flowers I added here," Taka preened, hovering just above the igloo wall with a smug grin. "Is it not pretty? Be my wife and I will give you a garden of them."
"No thank you, but yeah, it's pretty," I answered nonchalantly, scraping the edges of the ice.
"What are you even making, female?" Hatori asked, landing arrogantly on the half finished dome structure.
"We can help you build it if you let us inside your cave tonight."
This bird was getting entirely too stubborn. Before I could answer, Jor's patience snapped. ''WHACK!''
