Days passed, and before long, winter finally arrived.
As expected, Lewis became more exhausted with each passing day. Most mornings, he didn't even have the energy to get out of bed on his own. Unless Draen carried him, he would simply stay curled up under the blankets. Whether it was going to the dining hall or eating inside their bedchamber, Draen always carried him there himself.
Lewis had also become incredibly clingy. More often than not, he wanted to stay wrapped in Draen's arms. If Draen left the room for too long, Lewis would immediately look for him and if he couldn't find him, he would even end up crying.
It was a little childish but Draen knew it wasn't really Lewis' fault.
It was because he was pregnant.
Just as Draen had expected, the night they had sex at the end of Lewis' manifestation had allowed Lewis to conceive.
Now, the pregnancy symptoms had started to appear one after another.
