While Lewis was leisurely wandering from stall to stall with his attention completely captured by the countless goods displayed throughout the bustling marketplace, Draen found himself distracted by something else.
While Lewis admired trinkets, fabrics and various items he had never seen before, Draen's sharp gaze continuously swept across the crowded streets.
The strange sensation from earlier lingered at the back of his mind.
It had only lasted for a brief moment but it was familiar.
The feeling of another dragon.
His steps slowed slightly as he recalled that fleeting presence. There had been no visible mana signature, no obvious trace and no direct aura to pinpoint yet that alone made him even more suspicious. Dragons of sufficient age and power could conceal themselves so perfectly that even other dragons would struggle to detect them.
Still, there had been a faint sense of intimidation.
