Untapped: The Potential Within

[WSA Entry 2026] Twelve years ago, the world changed forever as Gates to another world appeared. It was on this day that Awakening crystals; gems that allow a person to gain supernatural abilities; were found and many used these abilities to obtain great wealth.Tanaka's parents were among those who gained fame and fortune from these strange abilities and worked to fight against the threats from beyond the Gates. Unfortunately for Tanaka, he has been suffering from an incurable sickness that started on that horrific day, and now he has to grapple with the deaths of his parents as he continues to grow weaker, all as the world becomes more dangerous. Whilst stuck in this predicament, he finds out that he's parents didn't die fighting some monsters. Instead, they were killed to prevent them from spreading the secrets of their higher-ups. As Tanaka despairs, he discovers something that could not only help him to overcome his illness, but also give him an opportunity to avenge his parents.
