"Confronted him. About the rumors. About destroying your career. Apparently it almost came to blows." Jade's voice was tight. "One of my clients works in that building. She saw the whole thing. Said Alessandro looked like he wanted to kill someone. That Dante looked smug as hell. That it was tense enough that security was alerted."


Sienna closed her eyes. Set down her coffee cup before she dropped it. "Fuck."


"No. He didn't tell me." She was already grabbing her jacket. Already looking for her keys. "I have to go."
