Chapter 96: Movie Series — The Beginning of the Three Worlds Ark
Aside from the Prime World, the Ichigo Kurosakis of other worlds had, to varying degrees, been interfered with by "White" (Inner Hollow) taking over their bodies during critical moments.
While it was one of his "cheats" to reverse a losing battle, Ichigo himself loathed it. That state of losing his mind, filled only with slaughter and destruction, did not fit Ichigo's combat aesthetic. Moreover, knowing the evil nature of Hollows, he was unwilling to fall into such a state.
Now, seeing that there was a way to actually subdue White, almost every Ichigo's eyes lit up. They wondered if they could reference and learn from this.
Of course, the question of whether the "King" or the "Mount" does the pummeling is a subtle matter of perspective—one the other Ichigos would soon experience firsthand. Regardless, the Path of Purity walked by the movie-Ichigo brought much enlightenment to his multiversal counterparts.
In the movie, Ichigo soon engaged in his second brief clash with Fisher!
Though he lost again, everyone could feel that compared to the first time, Ichigo was fundamentally different. He was growing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Orihime Inoue's appearance was, as usual, accompanied by subtitles:
[Orihime Inoue: Movie supporting actress, 16-year-old high school student, future wife of Ichigo Kurosaki, and Manager of Heaven Media's Logistics Department.]
The subsequent "Slap of Education" and heavy spoilers from the Divine Voice made the Ichigos and Orihimes across all bubbles blush slightly.
However, the person paying the most attention was Aizen. In the previous scenes, the Voice had mentioned a "Cool-line-dropping Mastermind" who viewed Ichigo as a son and arranged for Rukia to go on a "blind date" with him. Even as his Espada, Gin, and Tosen cast curious glances his way, Aizen ignored them. He didn't care about the Soul King's mockery; the fact that he focused so much on Ichigo was a reality. Consequently, he began to pay close attention to the marriage between Orihime and Ichigo, instinctively evaluating whether Orihime was "sturdy" enough to bear several children for Ichigo!
These thoughts, of course, the Aizens did not share with the public.
The training continued. Ichigo gradually became "Purity-brained," metamorphosing into a Spiritual Lunatic.
The appearance of Isshin Kurosaki, passing down a ten-thousand-year family secret technique, made the Ichigos of other worlds green with envy. In the original story, Isshin's parenting was almost entirely hands-off; aside from the self-destructive Final Getsuga Tensho, he taught Ichigo nothing—not even basic combat tips.
But the Isshin of the Prime World finally showed paternal care, while simultaneously revealing the heritage of the Shiba Clan, one of the five Great Noble Families.
The Getsuga Tensho, with its three stages of Emission, Concentration, and Variation, was both the Shiba family's bloodline crown and a world-shaking martial art. In high-fantasy terms: if mastered properly, one wouldn't even need a Zanpakuto. One could pick up a brick on the street and easily slaughter a Bankai-level Soul Reaper. The final Mugetsu form was a super-finisher that pointed directly to the realm of the Soul King Surge.
This scene caused massive ripples in the bubbles, especially among the Noble circles of the Soul Society. The bloodline of the five Founding Houses carried a status synonymous with "Divine Law." Though the Shiba clan had fallen, as long as the "brand" stood, it wasn't over. One strong man was all it took to rise again. Many began to run their own calculations.
Meanwhile, in bubbles where the "Ryoka Invasion" arc was ongoing or finished, the local Yamamotos remained stoic. Seeing Ichigo enter the Seireitei via the Shiba clan's signature cannon while using Shiba techniques—Yamamoto and the other Captains (except for the dim-witted Kenpachi) knew exactly what was going on. They just didn't say it. Otherwise, there was no way Ichigo could have caused such a ruckus and then peacefully returned to the Living World with the friendship of multiple Captains. It wasn't just "Protagonist Shielding"; it was the noble tradition of "Punishment does not reach the high officials."
The movie rolled on. Ichigo met Shinji Hirako and the Visoreds through Urahara.
Their appearance shocked the Gotei 13 of other worlds, as these were former Captains and Lieutenants who were officially dead. The scene showed the spar between Ichigo and the Visoreds.
The technique called Hollowfication made almost every Reaper—and even the Quincies—frown. Yamamoto, the King of Soul Reapers, let out a cold snort. Hollows were evil spirits, monsters; to merge with them and use their power was heretical and foul.
In this spar, movie-Ichigo displayed his unreasonable Perfect Realm for the first time. After fighting the Visoreds for a short while, he learned Hollowfication!
In the Wandenreich of various worlds, the Yhwachs wore unreadable expressions. A Hollowfied Reaper was disgusting; a Hollowfied Quincy was an absolute nightmare. Yet, Yhwach had to admit Ichigo's version was unusual. His dark desires and emotions transformed into a mask, but when he put it on, he didn't look fallen. He looked like a deity manifesting a ferocious, blue-faced demon form—an infinite, terrifying visage that was both holy and sinister, solemn and grisly!
Ichigo's Hollowfication made the local Visoreds doubt their lives, wondering if Aizen's craftsmanship was so poor that they had all received "counterfeit" versions.
The plot then shifted focus to Uryu Ishida.
The "Overbearing President and Runaway Bride" drama between Fisher and Uryu made many previously serious powerhouses chuckle. However, smiles don't disappear; they only transfer. To the Uryus of various worlds, being targeted by a future Supreme Being who vowed to "penetrate" them with a fist of Vaseline-Purity was more terrifying than any horror movie. Many local Uryus immediately called their fathers:
"Dad, I want to become strong enough to blow Fisher up. Please train me to death."
Ryuken Ishida, who previously hated the Quincy profession, looked at the screen and decided that if he didn't want his son to wander down a "bizarre path," he had better lend a hand.
In the chase drama, Uryu lost miserably, but in his desperation, he made a final stand: calling Ichigo! And Ichigo's response was that "high-purity" grin.
Orihime appeared with a "Truck-kun," and Ichigo showed off his extraordinary talent—mastering the Shiba art to the point of performing the Truck-kun Getsuga Tensho.
The scene shifted: Fisher, in his bathrobe, elegantly scattered petals over a tightly-bound Uryu. Amidst Uryu's pig-like screams, Fisher explained his will. He had sensed the void of his own existence. He knew his goals might be fake. But he didn't care! He sought no eternity; he only grasped the brilliance and satisfaction of the "Now."
In the other bubbles, the Arrancars in Hueco Mundo began to look at Fisher with admiration. Every Hollow reaching a certain level suffers from an inner void. Some fill it with slaughter, others with companionship. But only those who recognize the void and consciously try to fill it are viewed as peers by the Espada.
The Truck-kun smashed through the wall, interrupting Fisher's monologue and bringing the plot to its finale. Uryu was placed in Rukia's custody as a "prize," and the battle began.
No talking. Just flesh-on-flesh war.
Just like in the Prime World, the Aizens of other bubbles immediately sensed the essence of the fight. In terms of raw power, Ichigo and Fisher were weak—their Absolute Realm was only around 20%, barely Lieutenant level. But Purity was making them shine!
Their spirits, integrated with Purity, had discarded "Hesitation" and "Doubt." Their battle intent climbed manically, creating a positive feedback loop. For most, this was the line between a "Master" and a "Powerhouse." Their techniques evolved as if through decades of training in a few rounds.
"Fascinating. Their power is increasing manically. It makes one wonder if our own years of training were wasted on someone like Komamura," Gin joked in Las Noches, though his smile was complex. He had spent centuries to reach his current level; movie-Ichigo and Fisher had crossed that gap in minutes.
Aizen corrected him: "Gin, that isn't growth. It's Evolution."
Following Aizen's lead, Gin looked closer. It wasn't just Reiatsu. Their bodies were changing—not just growing steel-skin, but evolving flesh and bone. Their spiritual meridians were thickening to output Reiatsu more efficiently. Everything was evolving for the sole purpose of combat.
This was peak-Ichigo: when he hit his limit, he used Purity to "beat" his power into coming out.
White was pulled into reality!
To true powerhouses, this was incomprehensible. White was an internal manifestation, not a physical entity. To pull him out and give him a form to fight in... it meant Ichigo had shattered the "Impossible" for the first time.
In the other bubbles, the local Whites didn't care about miracles. Seeing their movie-self being used as a projectile to be pummeled made them scream: "THAT ANIMAL!" When movie-White was beaten into a coma and then pulled back out again, they lost the strength to even curse. They began to wonder what to do if their own hosts stopped being human.
In the movie, Ichigo won. White submitted to the iron fist and merged. Power from blood and soul was reclaimed; no barriers remained! The mask shattered, power sublimated, and Ichigo revealed a fraction of his "Perfect" state.
He moved slightly, and an infinite onslaught swallowed Fisher!
Captains of the Gotei 13 felt their hearts jump. "The logic of 'focusing on one point to reach the zenith'... terrifying. If caught off guard, one might be beaten into kneeling before even drawing their blade. He's a bit like the Old Man," Shunsui Kyoraku muttered, his eyes narrowing in guarded caution.
Fisher fell, mortally wounded. He looked at the sky, his eyes misty with nostalgia. There was no "Flashback Death," but everyone knew he wouldn't exit easily. His eyes burned with a physical fire of battle intent.
Fisher roared in his desperation! His voice held a laugh. If death was unavoidable, he embraced it—condensing his life into this moment to leave an indelible mark on existence.
The Burnout Realm of the Purity system displayed its unthinkable power. The Supreme Being (God) cast His gaze, accepted Fisher's heart, and granted him the power to carry out his will.
The clash of finishers spiked above 50% Absolute Realm—a level only matched by a Captain's Bankai.
Every powerhouse watched intently. Not because of the raw energy, but because of the Sublimated Will in those fists. Grudges and scripts didn't matter anymore. Hatred and anger were gone. There was only pure battle intent to decide life and death.
Fisher burned to ash. Ichigo stood in silence, looking lost. Everyone felt his loneliness and his regret that his opponent couldn't go further.
"Not a bad brat. Looks like a warrior," Yamamoto grunted in several worlds with tsundere pride.
The movie didn't end with the fight. The Divine Voice sought out Urahara, and the Tribulation of Emptiness was revealed. Small experiments proved the void was real.
Powerhouses in every bubble were horrified. Many immediately sent scouts to confirm if their own worlds were disappearing.
The Divine Voice gathered everyone, explained the situation, and proposed the Three Worlds Wandering Ark script. Then, He made his demand to Ichigo:
"Ichigo... the test of your Purity is here. Go... BEAT THE ENTIRE WORLD!"
