Arlene shared a combination of moods that were static, or predictable. She was either on the verge of cutting someone's head off, or she was tense, serious.
However, Clayton managed to push her through a barrel of emotions today. Most of them sour emotions, but within them, as he stormed her with a barrel of questions, he managed to give her a glimmer of hope, however short, he gave her hopes that he might actually help her heal, and keep the voices away.
More recently, as her typically tense demeanor loosened, he used the fact that she finally lowered her guard around him, to pitch an opportunity to her.
"What is your suggestion?" She asked, "It better be a good one, old man, because my mind is set to rip through heads in the battlefield. Killing feels… relieving, and the voices even went away for a moment. Do you really think I'd give up on that feeling just to be your little girlfriend? You wouldn't last one night with me, no matter how many times you can grow a new head."
