"Minister, please wait a moment. I must ask about this matter clearly!"
Merlin rubbed his chest and forced out a smile.
Although he was not opposed to Evelyn having her own romantic experiences, what he truly cared about was whether Evelyn had told the truth.
After all, to Merlin, honesty had always been the quality he valued most in Evelyn.
Thus, Merlin immediately picked up his communicator and began contacting Evelyn.
Very soon, Evelyn's voice came from the other end of the call.
"Commander Merlinster, is there something you need from me?"
Merlin paused for a moment. After thinking briefly, he asked,
"Nothing much. I just wanted to ask how your [Class Star Ascension Quest] is progressing."
On the other end of the communicator, Evelyn fell into a brief silence.
She seemed to be organizing her words. Only after a moment did she slowly say,
"At present, my [Class Star Ascension Quest] is still ongoing. I have encountered a small problem and have yet to resolve it."
