In the blink of an eye,
a portal appeared out of thin air behind Caelan and Alyssa.
The next moment, a familiar voice sounded beside his ear.
"We still don't have any especially good methods to deal with peak powerhouses at the moment."
Before Caelan could give any response, a hand suddenly reached out from inside the portal and dragged both Caelan and Alyssa inside!
The portal appeared quickly, and vanished even faster.
Almost the instant Alyssa entered the portal, the entire gateway turned directly into specks of starlight and scattered into the air.
By the time Crawford charged over, the portal had already completely disappeared.
However, to Crawford, this was not an entirely unsolvable problem.
Crawford merely gave a cold laugh. At the same time, he took out a tool resembling an hourglass from his storage space.
"Damned invader. Do you think that just because you used a portal, I won't be able to lock on to your destination?"
