"Hey… What the hell are you doing with her?" Zephren said with a hateful tone.
His sharp eyes piercing their hearts with fear and with an expression that can make anyone terrified.
"Wh-who a-are y-you?!" One of the goons said, his voice shaking in fear at the sight of the monster in front of them.
Zephren, with rage building inside of him, immediately dashes forward, catching them off guard and causing one of them to fall on the ground. The other goon tried to punch him, but as soon as he was about to hit his face. Zephren vanished, disappearing without a trace, nothing but dust left. He moved so fast that a gust of wind brushed against their faces.
"Wh-what happened?"
"Where d-did he go!?"
"...Here" A familiar voice coming from behind them.
One of the goons realized it was Zephren. So he immediately turned around, but before he could fully turn around, a kick hits him, knocking him out cold.
"You dare mess with us! Fine, you asked for it" All of them drew a knife out of their pockets.
Zephren didn't react at all, its like he saw this coming.
With his mundane expression, the goons thought Zephren was so scared that he froze from the sight of their weapons.
"Yeah what now punk? Look! His so scared he can't even talk. Ha ha ha!" One of them said with a cocky look on his face, all of them laughed.
Straight away they all charge at him at once with knifes drawn. Zephren just stands there now with a focused look. One of them tries to stab him in the throat, but Zephren sidesteps away from the strike, but a follow-up attack is on its way to his stomach, but once again he dodges it effortlessly.
"You little shit!" One of them said as he was running towards Zephren.
The distance of the goon running towards him is closing, as he was about to slash Zephren, he dodges it again.
The goons soon realize that attack him one at a time is useless, and so they plan to attack at the same time, they all nodded, hoping this battle might end swiftly.
"Alright! Dodge this!"
All of them attacked Zephren, but once again he just dodges it. They look like a pack of wolfs trying to catch a quick rabbit, they are great in numbers but lack in speed. The attack persist and a flurry of stabs and slashes continued.
Zephren is focused, his gaze fixated on their eyes, it's almost like his learning their movements. Holding back his strength he continued to dodge the upcoming attacks, none was even landed nor graze his clothes. His gentle but swift movements made the goons irritated, their attacks were so useless even with the help of a weapon.
The tied up girl watches, as the goons that tried to assault her are being humiliated. Her eyes lit up in excitement, as the hero that saved her, is fighting her assaulter.
'This is getting boring. I should probably wrap this up quick before a knight arrives.' Zephren thinks in his mind.
With Zephren bored, he's finally choose to be on the offensive side. But suddenly a fast knife is aiming on his side of his head, immediately he ducks and upper cuts the goon's chin, his body went limp and falls onto the tainted pavement. After knocking one of them he vanished again, leaving them confused and nowhere to be seen.
"Where did he go again!?"
"Hey man i think we should just run away. You see how fast he is?! We didn't hit him once! Come on let's go!"
"Shut the fuck up!" The two remaining goons got into a dispute. It is truly a sight to behold, not long ago they all have a smug look on their faces, but now their composure has completely crumbled.
"Hey! Come on!"
"where are you punk!?"
"Up here." A voice coming from above them.
They looked up and saw Zephren falling towards them. With his horrifying gaze, he landed on top of one of them, crushing him into the cobblestone and knocking him out.
The other goon was in shock, how did Zephren even fall from such a high place?
The answer is-
The Rooftops…
He was just waiting on the rooftop on top of a building, watching them from above. And so Zephren quickly punches the remaining goon on his face, it was so powerful that his face is completely deformed from the impact. With that he finally knocks out all the goons, ending the brawl.
"Phew. That was such a hassle… Oh shit, i forgot!"
Zephren was so blinded in rage that he forgot his main goal is to save the helpless girl.
He hastily unties the helpless girl and took the gag in her mouth, the girl didn't say anything nor shown an emotion. After finishing untying all the ropes, she all of a sudden hugged Zephren, jumping into him with tight embrace, and knocking them both on the ground.
"Umm… Wh-what are you doing? H-hey!" Zephren blushes of embarrassment.
She kept hugging him more tightly by the minute. He looks closer to her face that is buried deep into his clothes, noticing a feeling of wetness on his stomach. She was crying, crying while hugging her savior. Her cries were muffled by his clothes, and all the tears were soaked onto him, Zephren immediately tries to comfort her.
"…Hey it's alright, all of them are gone now." He said while patting her head gently.
The girl looked at Zephren, with teary eyes and a runny nose, she let out a smile of relief. Unshackling her from the nightmare she endured. They stared into each others beautiful eyes, both of them blushing, realizing how close their face is. The girl immediately stands up and quickly apologize to Zephren.
"I-i'm so sorry for suddenly hugging you out of nowhere!"
"No don't be. I understand how scared you must be after those bastards tried to assault you"
Her mood instantly change, hearing those word from him. It gave her a sense of relief.
"—Th-thank you Mister for saving me!" She sincerely bowed at Zephren.
"No no it's fine. A-Anybody would save you in that situation! Um… Anyways, if you don't mind me asking. Why did they attacked you in the first place?"
"Well… About that… While i was working at my father's shop, they suddenly burst into the shop without warning. They were loud and disrespectful to the other customers. Dad tried to drive them away to avoid customers getting scared. Eventually they gave up and left… But before they got out they looked at me, they all had a grin on their faces. I didn't want to tell father. I didn't want him to get in trouble because of me…"
"I understand what you are saying. but you should at least tell him what happened!"
"I-Im sorry… that was so selfish of me..."
"I guess it can't be helped. So what happened after that? How did they even kidnap you while you were working?"
"Well after my shift is over, my father asked me to throw out the trash. But once i walked in the alleyway they suddenly jumped me… I tried to scream for help but they covered my mouth…" Her tone suddenly became fearful, recalling the experience she endure.
"I-Im sorry to hear that… But i'm glad i made it in time before they done something horrible to you."
Even though Zephren saved her in the nick of time, he was still disappointed at himself for hesitating.
"Umm mister?" she said while fidgeting with her fingers.
"What's wrong?"
"D-Do you mind telling me your name?!" She said with enthusiasm. Her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"S-Sure… My name is Zephren. Pleasure to meet you."
"Zephren… What a beautiful name" She is at awe hearing his name.
"Th-Thank you? Umm anyways it's getting late you should probably go back home."
"Oh you're right… Once again thank youf or saving me Sir Zephren." She let out a beautiful smile at Zephren
Looking at her closely, he realize how beautiful she is, with her long soft white hair, and her small luscious lips, along with her delicate purple eyes. She has a figure of a goddess, not too big and not too small, just right. Zephren admire her beauty. All he could think about is how gorgeous she is, not even a lustful thought in his mind.
"Y-yeah…" Her beauty dazed him.
"Alright~ Im gonna head home now. Bye~"
"Wait! Its probably dangerous to go alone at this hour. I-I'll go with y-you…" His voice filled with worry.
"Ha ha ha. Thank you for your concern. But you don't need to do that."
"But there is still a chance that someone might hurt you!"
"You're so kind Zephren~" She let out a cute smile, while leaning on her side.
Zephren got all red hearing those words.
"-Hehe~ The shop is around the corner so you don't need to worry about me~"
"I-I see Umm… Take care now!"
"I hope we could meet again!" She ran while waving her hand at Zephren.
With him reassuring her safety, Zephren is now at ease. All of his worries as vanished.
"Ahh~ All in a day's work…Oh shoot i forgot about sis!"
Zephren bolts and with a worried look on his face. He began running frantically, its like a child going home late at night with her angry mother waiting on the doorstep.
With the sun setting in the horizon, and the sensation of coldness in the air while running, the nighttime as arrive. the town folks are appearing less and less the more he ran though the kingdom. At this hour, dangerous and powerful people roam the kingdom.
Back in the dark alleyway, the same alley where Zephren fought the goons. A mysterious figure stands in the middle of the aftermath.
"Hey… What the fuck happened here?"
