Twenty minutes later, the two girls arrived at the hospital to find their mother pacing impatiently in her hospital room. When she saw them, her face instantly darkened.
"So, you've been sneaking out this entire time? Weren't you supposed to be resting? Have you been meeting up with Delfina?!" The woman yelled.
Their father was not in sight, which made things easier.
At first, Verena was willing to answer her mother's questions, but then she recalled she also had questions for the woman.
"How about your mother? When do you plan on telling me how Delfina and Agatha got separated at birth?"
A frown settled on the woman's face. "Agatha? Who's Agatha?"
