The entrance exam had barely begun, but the slaughter started the very moment all the candidates opened their eyes inside the magical space—a warped world where a dense forest and a modern city had been stitched together.
Towering trees rose from broken asphalt and cobblestone streets. Thick roots coiled around lamp posts and traffic lights, while stone and metal buildings jutted up between the trunks like foreign intruders. Vines wrapped around balconies, and moss crawled over glass windows, turning the whole place into a surreal battlefield.
Almost immediately, the candidates began to move.
Most of them chose the safest option—numbers.
Small groups formed all over the forest‑city. Students shouted names and rushed to join familiar faces, or simply grabbed anyone who looked strong enough not to die in the first five minutes. Teams of five, ten, even fifteen spread out through the streets and trees, hunting loners and weaker groups.
