"J…just forget about it! I don't even wanna remember that!" Venessa instantly regretted saying all those stupid things to Alexis for some more.
The way she reacted made Alexis grin a bit. It was satisfying in some or another. But more than that, she felt glad to see Venessa come to her senses.
This was more of her, than the person she talked with in her office that day.
"Okay, okay. Let's drop it then. But surely you are not here just to say this, right?" Alexis coughed a bit, changing her teasing expression to a rather serious one.
Venessa tilted her head sideways feeling a little bit awkward. That's when Alexis realized she wasn't dressed the way she usually is at all. A simple comfy hoodie and flared pants, completely out of her fashion style. "Well …..I don't know if it's my place to say it but I'll only talk about it if you want me too," she paused after looking at her for the permission to continue.
