The battle was over. Kano sat on the shoulder of the Shadow Deer Tube double-door large refrigerator. The muscular Shadow Deer dragged a water pipe in one hand and Orochimaru's corpse in the other.
It strode over to Tsunade and Jiraiya's side.
"Here, Orochimaru was beaten to death by me."
Tsunade and Jiraiya had complex emotions. It was good that a scourge like Orochimaru was dead, but as fellow Sannin, they couldn't help but feel a sense of shared sorrow.
Furthermore, they knew Orochimaru's strength. If Kano could beat Orochimaru to death like this, she could just as easily kill them.
Is this really the combat power a Konoha Genin should have?
If a person like this were thrown into an era of war, it would be disastrous; she'd likely be another Uchiha Madara-level figure.
Maybe she should just be the Hokage; she's smart and powerful. Tsunade had originally opened her heart and prepared to return to succeed as the fifth hokage, but seeing Kano like this, she felt she could just drape the Kage robes over her instead.

Even Jiraiya was considering it.
"No way, only an idiot would be the Hokage. I'm very smart, so I'm not going to suffer like that."
"Don't you have any lofty ideals?"
Jiraiya also felt that someone with Kano's personality didn't seem like the kind of villain who would murder the Sandaime. He also regretted how easily he had believed the contents of that letter.
He had been misled.
"Lofty ideals? Marrying a wife who loves me, singing and playing music every day—a peaceful and stable life would be quite nice."

Tsunade nodded along, admitting that Kano's Genjutsu was truly ridiculous. If there hadn't been an external force to wake her up at the time, she absolutely wouldn't have been able to break free on her own.
