"Sengoku, he's gone."
Whitebeard raised his sake flask, watching his old rival depart.
Whitebeard was filled with emotion.
"You never expected to die here, did you?" Whitebeard sighed.
Today, it should have been your most glorious moment as Fleet Admiral, yet you were killed.
Life is unpredictable.
"This era is about to change."
Whitebeard looked up at the sky with a melancholic expression.
Roger's death ushered in the Great Pirate Era.
And Sengoku's death, in terms of shock and impact, was no less significant than Pirate King Roger's death.
Both were unprecedented.
As a leading figure among pirates, Whitebeard should have been the helmsman of the era, but now he couldn't see the future clearly.
"What will Kevin do next?"
Whitebeard stared intently at Kevin.
In his words, he treated Kevin as a complete equal, no longer referring to him as "kid."
"Pops, is Sengoku really dead?"
"Will there be any more complications?"
Diamond Jozu and the others swallowed hard.
They had witnessed it firsthand, yet it was still hard to imagine.
Although pirates often denounced the Marines as the World Government's dogs, pirates also envied some of the Marines' "privileges."
Even the strongest pirates rarely met a good end.
However, most high-ranking Marines could die peacefully.
"How Kevin revives, I don't know, but Sengoku definitely can't revive," Whitebeard stated with certainty: "Sengoku is truly dead."
Everyone stared blankly at the scene.
I can't believe Kevin really did something unprecedented.
I stared intently at Sengoku, who was covered by a black cloth, wondering if the black cloth would be lifted in the next second and Fleet Admiral Sengoku would stand up.
There was no miracle.
Dead is dead.
"Hahahaha, the Fleet Admiral is dead."
"From now on, it's our pirates' era."
The pirates excitedly thumped their chests.
The whole world witnessed the entire process of Sengoku's death.
He died spectacularly, yet also humiliatingly and pitifully.
...
"He's dead."
The Marines present clutched their heads in pain.
"It's hard to imagine, Kevin really did it."
Tyrant Kuma's perpetually unchanging expression seemed somewhat comical due to his shock.
He looked up at Kevin with reverence.
"Dragon, Kevin's single battle has surpassed our long years of effort."
Tyrant Kuma had to admit it.
The Revolutionary Army had worked so hard for so many years, desperately trying to shake the foundations of the World Government.
But it couldn't compare to today.
It was far from comparable.
"Some people are born kings, aren't they?" Even when facing Dragon, Tyrant Kuma hadn't felt such complete reverence.
Jinbe felt the same way.
He recalled how the entire Sun Pirates had been forced to flee in disarray under the pursuit of Kizaru, who was not yet an Admiral at the time, eventually leading to their disbandment.
"No wonder Boss Tiger respected Mr. Kevin so much."
Jinbe understood.
It was only right.
"With Mr. Kevin here, who would dare provoke Fish-Man Island?"
Jinbe was very excited.
The only thing that dampened his mood was that he realized he hadn't played any significant role today; even without his help, the Sun and Moon Pirates could have accomplished all of this, and he wasn't even considered an added bonus.
Crocodile couldn't help but say, "The Shichibukai opportunity is gone, but today, witnessing the emergence of an Emperor with my own eyes was worth it."
The sound spread throughout the world.
Emperor?
There was only one type of Emperor among pirates, the Sea Emperor.
"Sea Emperor..."
