Lucan was still stretched out like he hadn't just engineered the entire situation, like he hadn't left her carrying him in a way that every single one of them had felt the moment they got close. His tail flicked once as they arrived, slow and lazy, like he had been expecting them and didn't consider them a threat worth adjusting for.
Victor didn't even acknowledge him that should of been the first warning. He moved past him instead, Felicity still half asleep against him, her fingers curled lightly into his shirt, her face tucked into his chest like she had no intention of letting go any time soon. She hadn't woken properly, hadn't processed anything, just stayed soft and warm and trusting in a way that made everything sharper for the men watching.
"Felicity," Victor said softly
She made a small sound, barely there, and shifted closer instead of pulling away.
