Several figures shot out like ghosts from the shadows of the blasted tunnel ruins behind Dotō Kazahana. They wore regulation-issue Snow Ninja Chakra Armor—plain models, clearly the tyrant's personal elite guard. Icy plates caught the tunnel's dim light, radiating killing intent.
Seeing reinforcements arrive, Dotō Kazahana—his fury at Naruto's revelation boiling over—found release. From beneath his helm came a cruel order as he jabbed a finger at Kakashi and Naruto. "Perfect timing—kill them!"
"Naruto." Kakashi's voice rang with absolute trust. "Dotō Kazahana is mine."
The Kubikiribōchō lifted, its tip locking on the armored figure atop the rubble, battle intent flaring. Without looking back, he snapped, "Leave the rest of these Snow Ninja to you!"
Kakashi's trust wasn't blind. He knew Naruto had mastered the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu. Against superior numbers, Naruto's human wave of clones was the perfect tool to sweep mooks, split the battlefield, and create local advantage. Naruto's strategy was simple: counter a horde with an even bigger horde.
Elsewhere, Sakura and Sasuke, allied with Sandaifu and his resistance, had just wiped out a pursuing squad of Snow Ninja. Gun-smoke and cold lingered; Snow Ninja corpses littered the ground. Only now did they learn the loyal old minister had secretly rallied a force to follow Princess Koyuki Kazahana.
Yet when Sandaifu proudly introduced his "resistance army," Sakura and Sasuke froze. These "warriors" numbered barely fifty… their average age was clearly over forty. Most wore thick civilian winter coats. Though their eyes were steeled and simple weapons gripped, they lacked any professional training. Sending such an "uncle-army" against chakra-armored troops would be suicide.
"Sandaifu, your loyalty to my father moves me, but this is too dangerous," the princess said, pained by their zeal. Without Konoha's Ninja, their charge would be a pointless sacrifice.
"Serving Your Highness is our duty!" Sandaifu puffed his chest. He hadn't listened at all.
Just then, a clamor drew their gaze. The Princess Gale film crew—the director leading cameramen lugging bulky rigs and assistants clutching reflectors—jogged excitedly toward the tunnel.
"Director, what are you…?" Sakura was struck speechless.
"Listen to those blasts—look at that lighting!" The director halted, eyes sparkling with professional fervor. "An epic location shoot! We're grabbing killer footage! This is a true live set! We're going for the perfect shot!"
Sakura stared at these cinephiles chasing "stunning shots" regardless of the lethal battlefield. Their dedication was as absurd as it was absolute.
"Hup!"
With a low shout, Kakashi surged forward! The Kubikiribōchō tore through the gloom—not slashing, but driving with unstoppable force straight through Dotō Kazahana's breastplate.
Thud-slice!
A grating of metal and meat. The titanic blade punched through the Chakra Armor's core and deep into the tyrant's chest, exiting through his back. Impact staggered him; eyes bulged beneath the helm in disbelief and agony. Armor runes flickered like dying fireflies, then died with a sizzle. Snow's pinnacle tech had fallen to raw physical destruction.
Dotō Kazahana froze, blood glugging along the great blade's fuller. He gaped at the steel, then at Kakashi's icy gaze, gurgled, and collapsed.
With Kakashi's victory, Naruto finished off the remaining Snow Ninja. Even their Kunai Gatling guns couldn't stop the relentless tide of clones. Shadow Clones popped in clouds of white smoke, leaving Naruto alone amid the fallen foes, eyes still bright and sharp.
The strongest military obstacle to Princess Koyuki Kazahana's restoration—Dotō Kazahana and his elite Snow Ninja—was utterly crushed. For now, nothing in the Land of Snow could stand in their way.
