Due to the chaos in the penalty area, almost no one knew what had just happened except the two players directly involved.
While the broadcast director was still searching for the goal scorer, a figure suddenly burst out of the crowd.
"The ball went in?"
"It's in! It's in! Who scored? What the hell just happened?"
"Kai! Kai is celebrating! It's him!"
"Wait… seriously? That was him?!"
Kai sprinted straight to the corner flag.
More than 40,000 spectators in the stands instantly realized what he was about to do.
And damn—it felt like everyone was waiting for it.
Kai leapt into the air, spun 180 degrees mid-air, dropped his arms, and came crashing down like a meteor.
The next second, his landing exploded like thunder:
"Siuuuuu!"
The roar spread across nearly the entire city of Lisbon.
Fans who weren't even in the stadium heard it from streets nearby. They looked up toward the distant Estádio José Alvalade and muttered:
"Was that… Caesar scoring again?"
This was Kai's signature celebration.
Recently, it had spread like a virus among youth academy players all over Lisbon.
But a celebration on this scale?
Only Kai could pull off something like that.
Back in the stadium, the replay finally rolled.
Cristiano Ronaldo cushioned the ball with his chest… Kai leapt… and executed a scorpion-kick finish from behind!
It wasn't just a goal.
It was pure fucking art.
On screen, Peter Schmeichel's stunned expression said everything.
Four–three!
Moreirense had taken the lead for the fourth time in the match.
Only now did the Sporting Lisbon fans slowly come back to reality.
So it wasn't charity.
They weren't "letting them play."
They were actually getting torn apart.
"Oh my god! While Kai has scored twice, Cristiano Ronaldo has quietly completed a hat trick of assists!"
"That chest control? That counts as an assist too!"
"The old CD duo is back! Kai and Ronaldo—this is insane!"
"Unbelievable!"
Sporting Lisbon panicked.
They threw everything forward.
Especially Ricardo Quaresma.
Fueled by frustration, his strength, aggression, and pace surged back to peak levels.
Altino was starting to get cooked.
84th minute.
Kirop, helping cover for Altino, picked up a yellow card.
On the other side, Ronaldo had become Moreirense's only attacking outlet.
85th minute.
Ronaldo was hacked down by Abdullila and earned a yellow card.
87th minute.
Kai received the ball deep in his own half—and immediately got swarmed.
Five Sporting players pressed him at once.
But that pressure triggered something.
Individual Combat—activated.
Kai spun on the ball, barely keeping control as defenders closed in.
Then suddenly—
Acceleration.
A quick flick.
He burst straight out of the press.
And just as he escaped, Hugo Viana lunged in, trying to catch him off guard.
Too late.
Marseille turn!
Kai's movement flowed so smoothly it looked unreal.
Viana was left behind instantly.
He tried to grab Kai—but missed.
Kai accelerated again.
Fast.
Blazing fast.
Three seconds later, still far from the box—
Kai suddenly started doing stepovers.
One.
Two.
Three.
It let Viana close the gap slightly—
But then Kai exploded forward again.
He kicked the ball several meters ahead, straight past Abdullila.
Raw speed. Pure confidence.
He just fucking ate him alive.
Abdullila was furious.
"Ronaldo doing this to me is one thing—but you too?!"
Then reality hit.
Kai was just as fast.
Kai flew past him.
Abdullila lunged and slammed into him—ignoring the yellow card risk.
But he misjudged it.
They collided shoulder-to-shoulder, yet Kai had already gone past.
Abdullila lost balance and crashed to the ground, rolling.
Viana, chasing from behind, tripped over him and went down too.
Kai staggered slightly from the contact—
But kept going.
The ball, however, had rolled too far ahead, nearing the edge of the penalty area.
Sporting's center-back Marcos stepped up to challenge.
Bang!
Kai attempted a quick "fried meatballs" dribble—
But Marcos reacted faster than expected.
Or maybe Kai was still affected by the collision.
The move failed.
Marcos poked the ball away behind Kai.
Kai himself tumbled to the ground.
But as he rolled, he saw a blue figure charging in behind—
Cristiano Ronaldo.
He had followed the entire play.
Kai sprang back up instantly and kept running.
Marcos got bumped off balance slightly, and by the time he recovered—
Ronaldo had already reached the ball.
Marcos positioned himself to block, cutting off Ronaldo's dribble lane.
Boom!
Ronaldo didn't dribble.
He passed first time.
A chipped through ball.
Right over Marcos.
Splitting the defense.
"WHAT A PASS!"
"The angle is perfect! It cuts through Marcos and Luis!"
"But it's slightly overhit! Kai might not reach it!"
"Schmeichel is charging out—he's faster!"
But Kai didn't stop.
Not for a second.
Boom!
Before the commentator could finish—
Kai launched himself forward.
Sliding shot!
Schmeichel had never felt this helpless.
For the second time in this match, he watched the ball slip away just before he could claim it.
Both players went all in.
Kai stretched his leg—but clearly pulled his force at the last second.
Schmeichel instinctively protected himself.
They collided hard just outside the six-yard box.
Kai, lighter and smaller, took the worst of it.
But nobody cared.
Because the ball…
…rolled into the net again.
"GOOOOOAL!!!"
"It's Kai again! IT'S STILL HIM!"
"88th minute! Five–three! GAME OVER!"
"Hat trick! Another hat trick!"
"He becomes the first player in Portuguese Cup history to score back-to-back knockout-stage hat tricks!"
"This is unreal! He's playing like a god today!"
"That final sliding finish completely caught Schmeichel off guard!"
"And let's not forget Cristiano Ronaldo—that one-touch chipped pass was absolutely perfect!"
Moreirense had just delivered a brutal, unforgettable knockout blow.
