When the football fell to Kai's feet, he was barely marked. He immediately launched an attack and carried the ball forward.
His running was far more technical than Anderson's.
Kai's forward drive, combined with Alex charging up from the right, forced Freimud's defense to collapse.

This caught Freimud's defenders completely off guard.
From a positional point of view, Alex had fewer defenders around him, so logically Kai should have passed to Alex.
But Kai chose Ronaldo.

Because Alex was slightly deeper. Even if he received the ball, he couldn't directly threaten the goal. By the time he entered a dangerous area, Freimud's defense would already be set, turning the counterattack into a positional battle.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, was closer to the penalty area. The pass was harder, but if it reached him, he could attack immediately—an absolute scoring chance.
Cristiano Ronaldo cut inside from the left without the ball, battling fiercely with the right-back marking him.

Kai's pass arrived perfectly—faster than the defender could react.

Freimud's right-back flew past him.

The angle wasn't big, but the shot quality was insane.
Freimud's goalkeeper stretched his arms—but couldn't even touch it.
"Beautiful goal! Cristiano Ronaldo scores again, making up for his missed chances in the previous match!"
"That heel flick to change direction was brilliant! This looks just like the Cristiano Ronaldo from his youth academy days!"
"The media said Ronaldo was finished—but now it looks like he has fully adapted to the Portuguese Liga in just two matches!"

Freimud's right-back lunged from behind and took him down.
Moreirense exploded instantly.
Triguera almost rushed onto the pitch, screaming.
The Moreirense fans in the stands—finally excited after back-to-back wins—also erupted in anger, shouting abuse.
The referee rushed in immediately—
Red card!
Sent off!
Freimud's players pleaded, but it was useless.
Decision made.
Ronaldo then took the free kick himself.
Good position.
But the ball flew way over the crossbar.
"If you weren't playing so damn well today, I wouldn't let you waste that free kick," Kai said, roasting him.
Cristiano Ronaldo didn't even realize—
Back at Sporting Lisbon, he took all the free kicks.
But now at Moreirense… Kai had the final say.
Then the match went into halftime.
Triguera emphasized the second-half tactics, asking Alex to push forward more and increase attacking pressure.
Even if they were leading, they couldn't just sit back.
Today they had a numerical advantage—if they still couldn't dominate, then the team was honestly hopeless.

From the start of the second half until around the 60th minute, Moreirense attacked comfortably.
They almost pinned the opponent back.
Although they didn't score, they created plenty of chances—and not just through Kai.

Alex was unmarked and delivered an easy cross.
There were too many players in the box, and Freimud cleared the ball.
Macedo collected it outside and passed back to Kai.
Kai didn't even control it—he passed instantly.
A quick combination!
Alex had already entered the right side of the box, reached the byline, and cut the ball across goal.
Anderson, using his strength, bullied his marker and got to the ball first.
Goal!
Three to zero!
Unless something crazy happens, Moreirense has sealed the win.
This victory feels completely different from the previous two.
If those were a bit lucky—
This one is pure strength.
The team is absorbing the system and slowly becoming a cohesive unit.
69th minute.
Left-back Serafim received a yellow card and was subbed off for veteran captain Altino.
Since Alex was pushing forward, Serafim had to stay back more—but his defensive ability was still lacking.
Honestly, Serafim might be the weakest player in the squad right now.
Altino may be older, but he can still handle this role, even filling in as a center-back.
Of course, just because Serafim isn't good now doesn't mean he won't improve later.
As the team becomes more tactically mature, with better coordination between center-backs and defensive midfielders, the full-backs will be free to push forward.
At that point, the wings will truly come alive.
With support from the left-back, Cristiano Ronaldo will reach his full form on the left wing.
Right now?
This version of Ronaldo—struggling in chaotic situations—is just an early build.
In fact, Triguera's tactical planning is already ahead of the team's current level.
That's what prevents unnecessary mistakes.
Otherwise, you sell a "useless" player too early…
Then later realize you need that exact profile again—
And end up spending more money to buy a similar player, while also resetting team chemistry.
Pointless.
This is why some players suddenly "become useful" later on.
It's not magic—it's because the coach finally found a role that fits them once the system matured.
Otherwise, teams that keep holding onto players without proper tactical roles—
