The underground space reeked of blood.
Dark crimson mist floated everywhere now, mixing with shattered fragments of blood mana and distorted emotional energy leaking from the creature's unstable body. The underground walls had long since cracked apart from the overwhelming pressure released during the torture, while the sealed blood barriers surrounding the area pulsed continuously to keep everything hidden from the outside world.
And in the center of it all—
The creature hung limply.
Broken.
Its distorted body twitched weakly beneath the countless crimson tentacles piercing through it from every direction. Blood foam continued spilling from its mouth endlessly, dripping downward onto the shattered ground beneath it.
Its consciousness had nearly collapsed completely.
Any weaker existence would have died already.

Yet Cain stood before it calmly.
Watching.
Expressionless.
