Placing one step at a time as Adele fought the urge to scramble into the forest again and duck behind the woods to hide herself she moved forward. She was never this anxious.
Though Adele could not see everyone's expressions at the audience, she had immediately felt gazes turning to fall on her. It was as if all eyes turned and focused on her. Trying her best to stay calm, she continued walking gracefully until reached her assigned place beside Charlotte.
