The sun would be up any minute. They treaded carefully, crouched low to the ground as they slowly approached the opposite entrance to Viraaz. The cover of the night would help them launch a surprise attack. At the back of their group, the ballista unit was putting together their bolt thrower and setting it up to be transported to the battlefield.
As their feet hit the Viraaz cobblestone street, the sun began to rise over the horizon, highlighting the early morning fog and painting the world in a bright blue hue.
"The goal is to get to the castle. We need to take down Arlon." Marix whispered to Vos, Captain Deka and the General of Norain who were all walking next to him.
"Some of my men will accompany you. You need armored bodies with you for that task." The Norain General whispered.
"Thank you. I appreciate it. I'll make sure they come back to you."
