Chapter 109 - A Joyous Occasion?

 Violent winds threw themselves against the large windows of the castle, rattling them ferociously. The incredible speeds were sending leaves, dirt and other debris flying through the air.

 The ocean churned angrily beyond the cliffs, their waves crashing against the rocky sides loudly.

 Dark clouds loomed overheard threatening future thunder and lightning.

 Not a soul dared to walk about in the storm. Children almost got carried away by the winds earlier, their light, delicate bodies easily picked up.

 Save for the loud ruckus of the storm brewing, the streets of Norain were quiet, practically a ghost town.

 The citizens kept their window shutters closed and locked, not even trying to take a peek outside at the weather, keeping themselves safe and cozy inside their homes.
