[3rd POV]
As it turns out, buying the cars was a bit more complicated than she had been expecting. As due to the rarity of the Koenigsegg, and how few of them are made, she had to do a special order from over seas. Which meant that the car would likely take a few months at LEAST to get to the states, and even that was unlikely.
It was more likely that it would take closer to a year for the cars to arrive in the states, which was...annoying to say the least. But hey, at least she was able to figure out her other cars. The Bugatti was easy enough to get, and once they realized who it was that was buying the thing, they were even more willing to fast track it.
That and she paid a pretty penny to ensure that it made it to her home without trouble, as well as ensuring that it had everything prepped and ready for her. She had to move around a bit in her parking spots, but it was fine.
The Lamborghini was even easier to get since there was plenty of dealerships nearby and she managed to buy one that same day, while also getting a new paint job, changing the wheels, as well as redoing some parts of the interior.
Mostly because she wanted better seats, a better sound system, and a new wheel since the one that was already in there was not really the most comfortable to use. It had cost a decent bit more, but not enough for her to really complain about it. She was happy when her new car had arrived in one of her parking spots.
The Bugatti had soon joined it, as she now had three cars. Her regular everyday drive tended to be the lamborghini at this point, but she did occasionally drive the Bugatti around. But the Bugatti got a lot more attention than even the Lamborghini, and she didn't really want to mess with or deal with the press just yet.
Not when it came to something like buying a car that expensive.
The press would undoubtedly try to twist it into something it's not, and make her look like an evil person that is spending millions on cars while she could be using it to help kids or something. And it would probably cause some backlash thanks to it, even though she had donated millions of dollars to charity.
And she wasn't going to stop donating either. She just preferred to be secretive about it. As she wasn't donating to charity for recognition or publicity, and instead just did it because she deemed it to be the right thing to do.
Like a decent human being with the wealth that she had.
Wealth that would only continue to grow further and further.
She hoped to fast track the Koenigsegg, as she wanted to have it before they got their new house, but it was beginning to feel like that was not going to happen. As thanks to Phil and getting into contact with some more of his realtor buddies, they were able to finally find a decent area to live in, with houses that were free there, and were big enough for what they wanted.
They just needed to explore them and find out exactly what they had in them. But from what they were told, it was a relatively rich area, so the houses were a lot bigger on the inside, tended to have basements, and most of them had theaters, tons of free rooms, and more than enough space to build everything that they wanted.
Billie had decided on the exact date for the trip to the Hollywood Institute of Arts, to meet Tori Vega and the rest of the Victorious cast. As well as meeting the Kardashian/Jenners which would come soon as well.
Meeting the Kardashians would come later though, as she didn't really need to worry about it anymore. She had already confirmed all of the training that they would need to do, and built a few ideas for what they could try out.
Mostly involving vocal training, working on making their own songs, and some basic exercises that they can do in order to get better at singing and controlling their singing as well.
but that would be for the future, as at the moment Haley and Billie were cuddled up on the couch, looking over some papers in front of them that had information on their merch and the sales that Billie had been having, as well as Haley's future merch.
Haley had been focusing heavily on her fashion design, and it showed in the designs she had made. They were great though, and were already influencing the things she wore and how she dressed. Mostly because she was actually wearing her own designs when she had the chance.
But most of her designs are pretty extravagant and can't just be worn anywhere. Things like dresses and such which is not a comfortable thin to wear every single day.
"So how's the merch sales doing?" Haley asked, as she leaned against her girlfriend, watching tv while Billie herself was now looking over the papers to make sure everything was going goo.
"Great. At the moment we're around 25% higher than what my advisors had expected, meaning the new album reveal must have been a huge influence on the growth of the merch sales" Billie explained to her girlfriend.
Haley hummed "What are the chances that my merch sales do the same?"
"It depends on the situation. If you do your merch sales after you release some information on your new album like I had, and reveal one of your songs, then it is likely that you'll make a lot more" Billie replied after a few moments of thought, understanding why she was asking.
"And if I did do it after revealing the release date then I'll make 25% more?"
"I honestly don't know. But there's a good chance that you'll get a 15 to 25 percent boost" Billie explained to her girlfriend, as she stared at her silently.
"We'll have to do that then. As that money could be very helpful in a number of ways, and I might need it for my fashion design since making fashion is expensive" Haley said.
"Not surprising. Since you have to potentially buy rare silks and such." Billie replied blandly, not really bothered by this very much.
"Exactly. Silks are damn expensive, especially if you get the actually good silk from the best of the best. And those are worth thousands of dollars for a tiny bit of it. You can also mesh it well with a lot of things, making it even easier" Haley replied, a small smile on her face.
"And aesthetically it looks great too" Haley said, as Billie continued to sit htere with Haley laid up against you.
"Mmhmm, are you just buying silk or are you going to try to get some different items as well?" Billie asked, as Haley shook her head.
It's all taken care of. As well as him, and it'll probably piss him off till the very end.
"Just silk for now. I might get more in the future, we'll see" Haley said, as she leaned back against the warmth of Miss Militia, and she did not want her to side.
"Alright then. Now, let's get back to watching that movie, I want to know who the murderer is!"
