[3rd POV]
"Ghmmm" Billie softly groaned, as she felt herself get shaken a bit. The voice of Haley echoing in her ear.
"Wake up babe, it's Christmas" Haley softly whispered next to her, as Billie groaned. She had been asleep for around 5 hours, which for her, was not even remotely enough. She tended to need around eight hours of sleep to function fully.
Five hours of sleep was nothing for her. And honestly she wasn't even sure she got five hours of sleep, and if she did, it's just barely that much.
"Mmm, What time is it?" Billie asked as she leaned back into her pillow.
"Six. I would let you go back to sleep, but we have to prep all the food for later, and we have to make sure all the presents are out and ready" Haley replied to her girlfriend, knowing that she did not want to get up, not because she didn't want to celebrate Christmas or anything, but because she did not get enough sleep.
Billie liked to sleep quite a lot. And she liked to actually sleep a healthy amount.
"Fiiine, I'll get up, but only because my amazing girlfriend asked so nicely. Well, that and it is Christmas" Billie replied with a whine, not wanting to get up yet, as she began to sit up, her hair frazzled in some major bed hair.
Haley bit back a laugh seeing her hair all messed up, as Billie noticed it with a sigh.
"But first, I am taking a shower" Billie said, as she got to her feet and began to head towards her bathroom, and just before she entered the shower, she glanced back at her girlfriend.
"Are you going to join me?" Billie asked with a smirk, as Haley blushed and ran after her.

After a shower that lasted around forty five minutes, the two had exited, smiles on both of their faces, as they enjoyed one another's...company. They had also done their hair and everything else that was necessary, as they entered the living room.
They had some work to do afterall.
Billie had moved to the stove, making sure that everything had been going well, and from the looks of it everything was just fine. While at the same time, she walked over to the fridge and then freezer, making sure the foods in their were also settling nicely.
They were.
At the same time, Haley was moving around some of the presents, moving the smaller ones up closer so that they were easily grabbed and not hidden by the big presents. And then she moved the big ones further back so they didn't block everything else.
On top of that, she snuck a glance at her girlfriend who was humming as she made sure her food was doing well, before bringing out a small box from her pocket, and placing it under the tree in the very back, so it would be hard to see unless someone looked closely for it.
It was the most important of all the gifts, in Haley's eyes.
Beyond that, Haley had also moved around some ornaments that were beginning to fall down, straightening the star at the top of the tree, and a few other things that she decided were important enough to change.
By the time she had finished making sure everything looked good, Billie was done with the food and making sure it was also good. While she was also preparing the breakfast that they would all eat.
Since the family had decided they were going to spend the entire day together at the apartment, from Breakfast all the way to dinner. It was largely thanks to this that Billie was prepping so much, as she had to make a lot of food, especially considering how big the family actually was.
There was: Phil, Claire, Luke, Alex, Jay, Gloria, Manny, Cam, Mitchell, Lily, and then herself and Haley. For a total of 11 people she had to make food for.
Basically, it was a LOT of people, and a lot of food. And she could not afford to make any mistakes with it.
She had even bought stuff for coffee or hot chocolate, which was thankfully very easy to make, since she had a very high end espresso maker that could also make a delicious hot cocoa. That and hot cocoa was not hard to make at all.
It was the easiest thing she'd be making that day, that's for sure.
"Is this going to be enough food for everyone?" Haley asked, looking at all the different food that her girlfriend was preparing.
"Hmm? Oh yeah, I had made sure to take into account how much they all eat, and have made more than enough. Honestly I might have made too much, so there will probably be a bit of leftovers" Billie replied, nodding as she had made sure to be smart with how much she had made.
For breakfast she had made a few tings. For one, she had made cinnamon rolls that were another of her grandma's recipes. She was also prepping bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and some other breakfast dishes.
The family had already texted her and had let her know that they were on their way, hence why she had started to cook the food so early. As it turns out that the entire family was early birds when it came to Christmas.
Even Alex, Jay and Mitchell.
Just proves that everyone likes Christmas. At least, everyone that celebrates it.
While watching her food cook, she had made a tweet giving all her fans a merry Christmas, while also posting a small tease about her appearance on the Ellen Show and that they should all tune into it if they were interested.
She had taken a few pics of the food she was whipping up as well, posting it onto her instagram for everyone to see.
After that, she had continued to make sure the food was going well, while Haley had finished up with everything she wanted done, and was now humming softly while making herself some iced coffee. And was also making Billie some coffee as well, after she had asked for it.
She would have made it herself, but she was busy making sure the breakfast was going well.
"What are you going to do for lunch?" Haley asked, deciding to bring up the next part of the day beforehand so she could maybe help.
"Nothing too crazy. The dinner is going to be huge. So I figured I'll make some sandwiches or something" Billie replied with a shrug, knowing that the lunch was the least stressful meal because they didn't really need to eat it to be frank.
She wasn't even sure if the family would want lunch by the time it came around, and some of them might opt to instead wait for dinner and snack on some of the snacks she had stocked up on just for this occasion.
She had thought pretty much everything through, to ensure that nothing went wrong.
Or at least, if anything did go wrong, she could deal with it without too much heartache.
"Oooh, maybe we can do turkey sandwiches? We have a lot from that butcher we went to for the Ham" Haley suggested, as Billie hummed and nodded.
"Great idea babe. We'll have to see if everyone is interested in it first, but if so then that'll be the best thing to use" Billie replied with a small smile directed towards her girlfriend, before she looked back at the food cooking around her.
All the while, she had one thought on her mind.
'This is a lot more stressful than I was expecting'
