Chapter 94 - Chapter 94 --Treasure Pavilion

Time flowed on in silence. No one else arrived at this place, as though those who remained outside already sensed that lingering any longer would only bring unease.

At last, Yuan Bin's voice echoed again, calm yet laced with mockery.

"Congratulations. You actually dared to choose this so-called path of death."

Everyone immediately sharpened their focus, listening intently.

"I know what you're wondering," Yuan Bin continued leisurely. "Since it's called a path of death, why did so many people manage to walk through it? That's because—this is the true path to life."

He paused deliberately.

The hearts of those present trembled.

If this was the path to life… then what of those who chose the so-called safe route?

"You guessed correctly," Yuan Bin said with a faint chuckle. "As long as you are a Lord-level being with an undying body, there is almost no real danger on that path. Even if you fail, you'll simply be teleported out."

For a moment, no one spoke.

Then realization dawned.

This had all been a trick—pure manipulation.

"And as for those who chose to remain in that so-called safe space," Yuan Bin added indifferently, "their fate will be decided by whoever ultimately obtains my treasure."

Bai Yue's gaze grew colder.

This Yuan Bin had absolutely no regard for life. To him, everything was merely a game—deception layered upon deception, lives treated like toys to be arranged at will.

Those who chose comfort had unknowingly placed their lives in the hands of a stranger.

"Life is death, and death is life," Yuan Bin declared. "Anyone who lacks the courage to face danger and indulges in comfort—how could they ever be worthy of my legacy?"

"Congratulations to all of you who have reached this point. You are safe—for now." His tone turned almost playful. "Of course, I don't care if you kill each other. What you need to do next is very simple."

"Distribute the treasures."

The familiar pattern returned—declaring safety while sowing discord with every sentence.

"From your current position, fly eight thousand kilometers forward," Yuan Bin said at last. "There is a jade pavilion there. That was once my Treasure Pavilion. Everything I left behind is stored within it. How much you can obtain… will depend entirely on your own ability."

The moment the location was announced, excitement surged through the group. Yet none of them rushed recklessly. After everything they had experienced, no one dared assume this distance was harmless.

They advanced cautiously, flying at restrained speeds.

Eight thousand kilometers passed swiftly regardless.

This time, there were no ambushes, no sudden calamities. The journey was strangely smooth.

At the heart of the endless grassland, a narrow river wound through the land like a silver ribbon. Beside it stood a pavilion.

The structure was entirely carved from white jade, its roof inlaid with golden tiles. The design was elegant and harmonious, blending naturally with its surroundings, as though it had grown from the land itself.

Before the pavilion stood a stone tablet, clearly left by Yuan Bin.

"The treasures on the first floor are free to take.

The second floor—depends on fate."

Joy flickered across many faces.

At last—it was time to reap the rewards.

No one knew who moved first. In the blink of an eye, seven figures blurred forward, rushing into the pavilion.

From the outside, the pavilion seemed modest, but within it was a world of its own. The interior space stretched vast and open, far larger than appearances suggested.

At the entrance stood a towering sculpture—nearly a hundred zhang tall. It depicted a powerful humanoid figure clad in armor, with six arms and an overwhelming presence.

It was Yuan Bin himself.

The most striking feature of the sculpture wasn't its size, but its aura—aloof, domineering, as though gazing down upon all existence. The pressure it emitted instinctively made one feel insignificant.

Yet no one spared it a second glance.

Countless treasures floated throughout the space, radiating dazzling light. Weapons, armor, rare materials—each one valuable beyond measure.

Figures streaked through the air as everyone began seizing what they could. Domains collided, divine power surged, and speed was pushed to the limit.

At first, there was order.

There were simply too many treasures. Everyone focused on claiming their own targets, wary but restrained.

But as the floating items dwindled, competition turned fierce.

This had been inevitable.

The Monster Race, with superior numbers among the Lord-level combatants, quickly became aggressive.

An Insect Race Lord was just about to secure a piece of armor when two Monster Race Lords struck simultaneously—one attacking the Insect Race expert head-on, the other snatching the armor in the chaos.

The Insect Race Lord roared in fury, summoning an ally. Instantly, a brutal clash erupted.

Fortunately, the pavilion itself was constructed from unknown materials. Despite the violent collisions and explosive power, it suffered no damage whatsoever.

Bai Yue paid them little attention.

He had already taken several items—mostly sixth-order energy weapons and tools forged from G-grade metal. To ordinary Lords, even Champions, such items were priceless.

To him, they were merely… acceptable.

Before long, his interest waned.

Then, as he maintained his Domain secret technique, he noticed something unusual.

Everyone had entered through the main entrance, drawn by the treasures floating overhead. Yuan Bin's detestable personality had ensured that no one bothered to examine his sculpture carefully.

But Bai Yue's domain revealed something different.

Behind the massive sculpture, its hands were clasped calmly behind its back.

On the right index finger—

A ring.

The ring was identical in color and material to the sculpture itself. There were no visible energy fluctuations, no law ripples—so subtle it was almost impossible to detect.

"A hidden treasure?" Bai Yue's eyes narrowed.

He reached out casually.

There was no resistance.

The ring slid off smoothly into his palm.

Without drawing attention, Bai Yue slipped it into his space ring, deciding to examine it later.

Just then, a divine sense transmission reached him.

"Brother Walker, while they're all tied up here, let's hurry to the second floor."

It was the Separation Marquis.

Bai Yue glanced over.

The Monster Race and Insect Race Lords were fully engaged, their battle intensifying. The Separation Marquis had already turned and accelerated toward the staircase leading upward.

Bai Yue smiled inwardly.

Clever old fox.

That "reminder" was nothing more than bait. If Bai Yue moved first, the other Lords would instantly abandon their fight and pursue him, making him the primary target.

But the Separation Marquis had miscalculated one thing.

Bai Yue's speed.

With a few flashes—almost like teleportation—Bai Yue overtook him, reached the passage, and vanished into the second floor in an instant.

The Separation Marquis stared in disbelief.

That movement technique was truly outrageous.

Behind him, sensing the rapid approach of five pursuers, his expression darkened. He unleashed his god power fully and rushed into the second floor as well.

The real treasure lay above.

A unique treasure—singular, irreplaceable.

There would be no sharing.

Only one victor.

The second floor opened into a vast hall. Bai Yue entered first, followed closely by the Separation Marquis.

The hall resembled an enormous study. Paintings lined the walls. Bookshelves stood neatly arranged, filled with countless volumes. At the center rested a long desk, covered with writing tools and scrolls.

Moments later—

Swish. Swish. Swish.

The Lords of the Monster Race and Insect Race also arrived.

Without a word, the Separation Marquis shifted subtly closer to Bai Yue.

As if proximity alone could grant safety.
