Chapter 246 - Chapter 246: The Illuminati Universe

Avengers Base, conference room.

Levi stared at the list displayed on the holographic screen.

Thor—late Skyfather level, wielding the complete Stormbreaker.

Wanda—Skyfather level, fully awakened Scarlet Witch.

Rhodey, Sam, Bucky… they had all been enhanced, but on a cosmic battlefield, they could only play supporting roles.

Levi's gaze stopped on one name:

Stephen Strange.

The Sorcerer Supreme—his magical skill was top-tier, but his raw power wasn't enough.

The monsters Levi had encountered—Thanos, Apocalypse, Ego, Dormammu, the Anti-Monitor—every one of them operated on the level of laws.

At Strange's current level, even self-preservation would be difficult.

Let alone the coming multiversal war. The Council of Kangs, the Anti-Monitor, and unknown threats emerging from nowhere—every single one was a heavyweight.

Thor and Wanda were sufficient for now—but Strange's weakness had to be addressed.

Levi closed his eyes. Information surfaced in his mind.

A transmigrator's greatest advantage wasn't a cheat ability—it was knowledge of the plot.

Earth-838.

The Illuminati Universe.

Levi opened his eyes, a faint smile forming.

That universe held two things Strange needed.

The Book of Vishanti—the pinnacle of white magic.

The Darkhold—the ultimate tome of dark magic.

One light, one dark. Together, they could bring about a qualitative leap in Strange's power.

Levi wasn't foolish enough to hand the Darkhold directly to Strange. Its corruption was too severe—one misstep, and he'd fall into madness.

But Levi could extract the useful knowledge, strip away the dangerous parts, and pass that on.

He turned and looked out the window.

Wanda was in the training field, practicing Chaos Magic. Crimson energy flowed around her—far more stable than before.

He walked over.

Wanda stopped and looked up at him.

"I'm going to Universe 838," Levi said. "To get something for Strange."

Wanda frowned. "The Council of Kangs could move at any time."

"So I'll send a clone."

She nodded.

Levi closed his eyes, his consciousness sinking inward.

Eleven laws rotated slowly within his core—Space, Power, Time, Mind, Reality, Life, Death, Devouring, Alchemy, Soul, Phoenix.

He began extracting power, constructing a clone.

This time was different. When he went to The Boys universe, he had infused more of the Alchemy Law. But now, his target was Universe 838—a world with a highly developed magic system.

From the depths of his memory, Levi pulled Loki's magical insights—an SSS-tier talent he had copied in Stuttgart.

Along with Ancient One's mastery of the Time Stone, Mirror Dimension construction techniques, and understanding of the multiverse.

All of it was poured into the forming clone.

Minutes later, Levi opened his eyes.

A crack split open beside him, and an identical figure stepped out.

The clone flexed its fingers.

"Early Skyfather level. That'll do."

Levi looked at him. "Your targets are the Book of Vishanti and the Darkhold. The former is in Kamar-Taj. The latter is on Mount Wundagore."

The clone nodded.

"In that universe, Strange is already dead—executed by the Illuminati."

"They publicly claimed he sacrificed himself to defeat Thanos. In reality, he used the Darkhold, triggered an incursion, and nearly destroyed the entire universe."

Wanda frowned. "The Illuminati?"

"A group of self-righteous fools," Levi said. "Professor X, Mister Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Baron Mordo, and their Sorcerer Supreme. They think they're qualified to decide the fate of the universe."

"I'm heading out. Their defense systems will respond immediately. Ultron sentries will intercept."

Levi nodded. "Don't be too high-profile—but don't go out of your way to hide either."

The clone grinned. "Don't worry."

The spatial rift widened. The clone stepped through and vanished.

The rift closed. Silence returned.

Wanda looked at Levi. "You're sure your clone can get those books?"

Levi scoffed. "The Illuminati? A bunch of idiots sitting in high chairs. They couldn't even stop you—what makes you think they can stop my clone?"

He turned toward the window.

"I'm not worried about them. I'm worried about time. The Council of Kangs could act at any moment. I need Strange's strength up before that."

"What about me?" Wanda asked.

"Keep training your Chaos Magic," Levi said. "When the clone returns, I'll extract the essence of both books. You and Strange will study them together."

Wanda's eyes lit up. "I can learn too?"

"Your Chaos Magic shares the same origin as the Darkhold. You'll learn twice as fast."

---

A spatial rift tore open above New York in Universe 838.

Levi's clone stepped out, hovering three hundred meters in the air.

At first glance, he paused.

This New York was completely different from the one he knew.

The streets were spotless, lined with flowers and greenery. Skyscrapers were covered in solar panels and vertical gardens. The air carried a faint floral scent.

The sky was a clear, pure blue—no smog.

Pedestrians walked calmly, dressed neatly, smiles on their faces. No beggars. No trash. No blaring horns.

A utopia.

The word surfaced in his mind.

He descended onto a main street. People glanced at him appearing out of nowhere—but only briefly, before continuing on.

After a few minutes, he stopped before a familiar building.

The Sanctum Sanctorum in Greenwich Village.

But it was no longer a sanctum.

The exterior had been renovated. At the entrance stood a three-meter-tall bronze statue—a man in sorcerer robes, hands forming seals, cloak billowing behind him.

Stephen Strange.

An inscription at the base read:

He sacrificed his life to defeat Thanos. The eternal Sorcerer Supreme.

The clone smirked.

Sacrificed?

He knew exactly how this Strange had died.

To defeat Thanos, Strange had used the Darkhold. Its power was immense—but so was its cost. He triggered an incursion. Though Thanos was defeated, the universe nearly collapsed.

The Illuminati panicked.

They held a secret vote—and sentenced Strange to death.

Black Bolt carried out the execution.

One word—that was all it took to shatter Strange's head.

Then they spun the story. A hero. A martyr.

How ironic.

The clone turned away.

He didn't bother hiding his aura. As a Skyfather-level being from another universe, his presence was like a torch in the night.

Right on cue, engines roared overhead.

Six silver-white machines descended, surrounding him.

Ultron Sentries.

In this universe, Ultron hadn't gone rogue—instead, he had been repurposed by the Illuminati as a peacekeeping force. Each sentry had independent AI, with combat power comparable to a minor Avenger.

The lead unit's eyes glowed red.

"Unknown dimensional intruder detected. Energy level exceeds measurable limits. Cease all activity immediately and await processing by the Illuminati."

The clone looked at them with mild interest.

Impressive craftsmanship—far better than Ultron in his own universe.

But that was all.

"Warning. You have ten seconds to comply. Otherwise, force will be used."

The clone smiled. "Force?"

He raised a finger—and flicked.

A barely visible ripple of space spread outward.

All six sentries froze midair. Then, as if crushed by invisible hands, their bodies twisted. Metal screeched. Circuits sparked.

Three seconds later, six advanced machines worth billions were reduced to scrap metal, crashing to the ground.

The clone dusted off his hand.

"That's it?"

He looked up.

He knew the Illuminati had already been alerted.

Professor X, Mister Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Baron Mordo… they would be here soon.

He wasn't in a hurry.

Instead, he found a bench and sat down.

Closing his eyes, his mental force spread across the entire city.

In a distant corner, he sensed something familiar.

Chaos Magic.

Weak—but deliberately suppressed.

He opened his eyes, his smile deepening.

This universe's Wanda… probably living as a normal housewife. A small home in the suburbs, two children, worrying about dinner.

Did she remember she was once a reality-warping witch?

The clone withdrew his senses and stood.

She wasn't his target.

He looked up.

Several powerful presences were approaching fast.

Professor X's psychic force reached out—only to recoil instantly, as if burned.

Far away, Charles Xavier opened his eyes, cold sweat forming.

That wasn't a defense.

That was an abyss.

Inside the Illuminati headquarters—

Reed Richards analyzed the data.

"Energy readings exceed all known standards," he said calmly, though his brow was furrowed. "This intruder's dimensional signature doesn't match our universe. He's from the far end of the multiverse."

Black Bolt remained silent. Medusa spoke for him.

"The king suggests observation. No rash action."

Captain Carter stood. "Observation? He just destroyed six Ultron sentries—in our capital!"

Baron Mordo crossed his arms. "Those sentries didn't last a second. Do you think we'd fare better?"

Silence.

Charles spoke hoarsely. "I tried reading his mind. Failed. That's not a mental defense—it's a complete law-domain."

Reed continued scrolling through data.

"Based on energy analysis… he's at least Skyfather level. Possibly higher."

That word silenced them all.

Skyfather.

What did it mean for such a being to appear in New York?

"What does he want?" Carter asked.

No one answered.

---

Meanwhile, the clone strolled casually down the street.

Two targets. Two locations.

The Book of Vishanti in Kamar-Taj—under Mordo.

The Darkhold on Mount Wundagore—sealed by the Illuminati.

Two battles.

But he wasn't in a rush.

The Illuminati were surely debating how to deal with him. The longer they argued, the better.

He entered a café and ordered an Americano.

The waitress, a blonde girl, smiled. "Are you visiting from out of town?"

The clone took a sip. "Something like that. I've got business here."

Through the window, he looked at the skyline, a faint, meaningful smile on his lips.

The Illuminati.

A group of fools who thought they could decide the fate of a universe.

They were about to learn what true power looked like.
