—------------------—

Giratina was hit by the moves of the three Pokémon—Lugia, Latias, and Gengar—and crashed into a house floating upside down in the air.

Giratina roared, but as soon as it stood up, it was blasted back by Mega Latias's Dragon Pulse.

Facing the powerful firepower, Giratina transformed into a shadow, attempting to launch a sneak attack on Lugia.

Gengar pointed its finger.

"Kekeke!"

"Over there!"

Lugia violently swung its claw-like wings, condensing the air into a terrifying vortex that flew toward the shadow.

Lugia's signature move, Aeroblast, forced Giratina out of the shadow.

Giratina used Shadow Ball to block the Aeroblast, its crimson eyes glaring at Gengar.

"Roar!"

It decided to deal with Gengar first, so its figure vanished once again.

Lugia and Latias searched around but couldn't find Giratina, and they couldn't even find Gengar either.

Shadow Force?

Lucas frowned. At this moment, Gengar sensed Giratina's movement, and its small face filled with terror.

"Kekeke!"

"Help!"

Lugia transformed into a divine bird, knocking Gengar away and taking Giratina's Shadow Force head-on.

Because Lugia had held back its strength, Gengar only sustained minor injuries, but Lugia was blasted away by Giratina, crashing heavily to the ground.

It hurts so much!!!

Lugia's voice echoed in Lucas's mind.

Under Lucas's command, Mega Latias unleashed Dragon Pulse once more.

Gengar also raised a massive Dark Void and hurled it at Giratina.

Giratina broke through the Dark Void, but was hit by the Dark Pulse from within it.

"Roar!"

"Where did this Gengar come from?! Why does it know all these moves you shouldn't be able to learn!"

Giratina's figure vanished again, and Gengar fearfully put up a Protect.

The next second, Giratina appeared behind Gengar, its barbed tail whipping out fiercely.

With a crack, the Protect barrier was shattered, and the tail whipped straight toward Gengar.

At the critical moment, a red light flashed, and Gengar vanished.

Giratina looked toward Lucas, only to find him holding a Poké Ball, smiling at it.

"Invincibility frames, how about that?"

Gengar hopped out of the Poké Ball, continuously patting its chest.

That was close, I almost kicked the bucket.

Giratina rushed toward Lucas, but was struck on its side by a powerful dragon energy, sending it flying backward.

Giratina smashed through the floating rocks behind it, one of its ghostly wings drooping weakly.

Double effectiveness, combined with the Soul Dew and a Mega-Evolved Dragon Pulse, still dealt massive damage to Giratina.

The more pronounced the pain in its body became, the brighter the crimson in Giratina's eyes glowed, and the more frenzied its Roars became.

"Roar!"

Powerful shadow energy began to gather around Giratina, and then a massive Shadow Ball was unleashed.

Mega Latias flew higher, but in the next second, Giratina appeared behind it. Gathering powerful dragon energy in its chest, it blasted a Dragon Pulse directly onto Mega Latias's back.

Mega Latias plummeted from the sky, a metallic, sweet taste rising in its throat.

Giratina accelerated, chasing down the falling Mega Latias.

Mega Latias forced itself to flip over, facing the rapidly diving Giratina. Powerful psychic energy gathered at its mouth, turning into a sphere surrounded by illusory feathers, which it hurled at Giratina.

Giratina nimbly dodged the Mist Ball, but the Mist Ball, which had just brushed past, was absorbed by a suddenly appearing Dark Void and reappeared right beside it.

Giratina was knocked flying, crashing heavily right in front of the Team Rocket Trio.

Giratina stood up, and upon seeing the Team Rocket Trio, without any hesitation, gathered shadow energy and fired a powerful Shadow Ball at them.

A red light flashed, and Wobbuffet leaped out of its Poké Ball. A mirror appeared in front of it, forcefully reflecting the Shadow Ball back.

Giratina dodged its own Shadow Ball.

???

"Lugia, you're playing dead again!"

Feeling his physical strength running low and still not seeing Lugia anywhere, Lucas cursed.

Giratina wanted to attack the Team Rocket Trio again, but was knocked flying by a divine bird that suddenly charged out of the floating ruins.

Seeing this, the Team Rocket Trio hurriedly took a few deep breaths.

"I say, should we keep going?"

Jessie whispered.

"We must do what the Manager asked of us,"

James said, clenching his fists.

"I saw him running over there, meow."

Meowth pointed in a direction.

"Excellent! The operation to capture the villain destroying the Distortion World officially begins!"

Jessie immediately came up with a name for the operation.

"Wobbuffet~"

"Wobbuffet, keep your voice down! It'll be bad if you attract Giratina again,"

Jessie and James immediately held Wobbuffet down. They looked up, saw that Giratina had no time to deal with them, and quickly left the spot.

Watching Lucas command Lugia, a Mega-Evolved Latias, and Gengar to battle Giratina together, Volkner couldn't help but swallow hard.

Who on earth is he? He can actually command the legendary Lugia and even make Latias undergo Mega Evolution—

Meanwhile, in the real world, Cynthia, who saw everything happening in the Distortion World, curled her lips into a smile.

I knew you could do it, Lucas.

In that case, I can't lose to you here either.

Cynthia sent out all of her Pokémon to help block the sliding glacier.

The wild Pokémon, now back to normal, began to cooperate with Cynthia, the Elites, and Gym Leaders to stop the glacier from sliding.

Behind them was the environment they relied on to survive, so they were also fighting to protect their home.

The glacier was still sliding, but its speed had slowed down significantly.

Just then, a large herd of Mamoswine ran down from the distant mountains and joined the effort to block the glacier. With their help, the glacier's speed slowed down even further.

Gothitelle pulled out a stash of herbal medicine, tossed it all into its mouth, and chewed. The bitter juice slid down its throat as it swallowed.

Then, standing on the snow, it raised both hands, and powerful psychic power swept out once more, directly kicking up the snow on the ground.

Cynthia and the others turned back to look at Gothitelle.

Gothitelle's outstretched hands began to bend, and two deep furrows were left beneath its feet, like a field plowed by an old ox.

Feeling the metallic taste in its throat, Gothitelle chewed the herbal medicine in its mouth again, gritted its teeth, and slowly began to push its hands forward.

"Goth... i... telle..."

Gothitelle was still being pushed back, but the glacier began to hesitate to move forward.

Until Gothitelle let out a sudden, loud shout.

"Gothitelle!"

Lucas! Hurry up!

The glacier completely stopped sliding.

Ninetales, Dash, and Lilligant were also using their strength to block the glacier.

"My goodness... what terrifying psychic power, what a strong Gothitelle..."

Flint couldn't help but comment.

This is too terrifying. Stopping a sliding glacier single-handedly... if this psychic power were used on a human, wouldn't they—

The Distortion World.

"Lucas, think of something quickly!"

Lugia flapped one of its wings and shouted.

Its other wing had stopped flapping, hanging limply and slightly blackened.

"The Distortion World is its home turf. It can continuously absorb the negative energy inside. If we keep fighting, we'll all die."

Lugia said as it fought back.

Giratina's condition was not much better; its two large wings were like tattered sails in the wind.

Lucas's eyes were bloodshot.

How is this Giratina even harder to fight than Palkia and Dialga?

The stamina consumed by Mega Latias was far more than Gengar's Mega Evolution. Having maintained the Mega Evolution for so long, Lucas felt as if his brain was about to be sucked dry.

Lucas covered his mouth.

What should I do now?

Damn Darkrai, it's never around when I need it!

Should I call for backup again? Bring Palkia and Dialga over?

No, if they come, it'll really be a fight to the death.

After all, this whole mess started because of those two.

Would "oración" work?

Should I try it?

Lucas's mind raced, thinking of one solution after another.

"The Manager... actually suppressed Giratina—"

Ash couldn't help but say when he saw this.

But as he looked at the Mega-Evolved Latias, he felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if he had ridden one himself before.

Newton Graceland was equally shocked. He hadn't expected that a person who suddenly appeared could actually use the Sea Guardian Lugia, Latias, and Gengar to contend with Giratina.

The aftershocks of the moves rippled toward Ash and the others. Ash pulled Shaymin into his arms, preparing to use his body to shield Shaymin from the aftershocks.

But someone was even faster than him. Lucas immediately stood in front of everyone, with Gengar floating by his side. The Dark Void in Gengar's hands absorbed all the aftershocks and hurled them back at Giratina.

"With me here, don't worry."

Lucas said without turning his head.

"Stop acting cool, what on earth should we do now?!"

Lugia roared at Lucas.

Ash looked up at Lucas's back, dazed.

"Strange, why does there seem to be a floral scent—"

Dawn sniffed and said in confusion.

Ash looked up and saw a rift appearing in the sky of the Distortion World. In the middle of the rift, two green, forest-sprite-like Pokémon were holding hands, smiling and waving at them.

"Celebi?"

Ash cried out.

Lucas looked up and smiled when he saw it was Celebi.

As expected, I still need your help.

Lucas said to himself.

Lying in Ash's arms, Shaymin smelled the familiar scent of gracidea flowers, and its body slowly regained its vitality. It looked up at the suddenly appearing rift in time and space, with sunlight pouring through, and then at the figure standing in front of it.

The bond between Trainer and Pokémon—

The courage to never back down even when facing an enemy far stronger than oneself—

And the desire to protect one's Trainer and those behind them—

"Thank you, Lucas."

Shaymin's voice echoed in Lucas's mind, and Lucas turned back to find that the Shaymin in Ash's arms was already enveloped in white light.

"The light of evolution?" Lucas said.

"It's dawn, Manager, it's dawn!"

Hearing Ash's happy shout, Lucas looked up. Had it already dawned?

"Legend has it that Shaymin evolves into its Sky Forme during the day, becoming brave, strong, fearless, and filled with gratitude."

The white light on Ash's chest began to float upward slowly, and the shockwaves from the clash of moves dispersed the white light, causing Shaymin to evolve into its Sky Forme once again.

Shaymin looked at Lucas and flashed a roguishly handsome smile.

"Leave the rest to Shaymin; Shaymin will resolve all of this."

Lucas sighed in relief; his body could no longer maintain the Mega Evolution of Latias.

Latias reverted to its red-plane form and looked at Lucas in confusion.

"What are you jabbering about? If you don't hurry up, don't expect me to help you next time! It hurts so much!"

Lugia continued to complain incessantly.

"Then I'll leave it to you, our brave little warrior, Shaymin."

Lucas smiled wearily.

It was the first time Shaymin had ever heard anyone call it a brave little warrior; it paused for a moment, then happily approached Lucas.

"Lucas, let's do it together."

Lucas nodded, then looked at Giratina, forcing himself to stay alert.

"Shaymin, use Seed Flare!"

A powerful yet incredibly gentle light erupted from Shaymin's forehead.

All the various negative emotions of the Distortion World, such as hatred, anger, and hostility, were absorbed by Shaymin, and the Distortion World began to return to normal.

Giratina also stopped moving, its eyes becoming clear.

Immediately after, Shaymin converted the absorbed negative emotions into Seed Flare, and a passage out of the Distortion World appeared before everyone.

Celebi flew in from the passage, hand in hand, then extended its small hands toward Lugia and Giratina respectively.

A healing light shone, and Lugia and Giratina returned to normal.

Then Celebi came to Lucas's side and circled around him.

"Thanks to you all, thank you."

Celebi took out the gracidea flower it was holding and handed it to Lucas.

"Sha~" Here you go~

Lucas remained silent, then flashed a big smile and accepted the flower.

"Thank you~"

Then Lucas turned back and looked at Ash and the others. "It's resolved. Everything is fine now."

Ash suddenly lunged over.

"Lucas is so amazing!"

Shaymin flew toward Celebi.

These kinds of Pokémon are always attracted to each other.

After Giratina regained its clarity, it looked at Lucas, who was surrounded by everyone, then looked up at Lugia and Latias.

"Long time no see, Lugia."

Lugia curled its lip. "It hurt so much."

Giratina smiled sheepishly.

You're the only one who hurt? Don't I hurt too?!

Giratina turned to Latias. "Your bond moves me."

Latias curiously examined Giratina; it was the first time it had seen Giratina.

"You're quite durable—"

Latias started with that sentence.

Giratina: ————

Giratina took a few deep breaths, then looked at Lucas, slowly descended, and came before Lucas.

"Lucas, thank you."

Giratina said: "Next, I'll take you all out."

Lucas nodded.

"Lucas, I still need you to help me with one thing."

Lucas looked at Giratina in confusion. The next second, an image appeared in his eyes.

It was the scene of Gothitelle trying its best to control the glacier.

Lucas nodded. "Don't worry, I've already arranged it. You just need to come with me now."

Giratina stared at Lucas. Although it didn't understand why Lucas said it was already arranged, it still nodded.

"Okay."

gracidea flower field.

Ash and the others walked out of the Distortion World first.

Ash turned back and didn't see Lucas.

"Strange, where is Lucas?"

Just as Ash finished speaking, he saw Brock pointing at the sky.

Everyone looked up.

They saw Giratina flapping its red and black wings as it soared out of the Distortion World, heading straight for Mt. Coronet.

Beside it followed a large white bird no less impressive than Giratina, as well as a red and white plane, and two small green Pokémon.

Volkner: ————

"He didn't catch Giratina, did he?"

Newton Graceland blurted out.

Volkner and the others twitched their noses.

"What's so strange about that? Weren't Lugia and Latias caught too?"

Ash scratched his head and asked, puzzled.

Volkner: ————

When you put it that way, it seems like it's not without reason ————

Newton Graceland: I know that's true, but he's been holding onto the Distortion World for so long. Thinking about Giratina being caught, why does it feel a bit like being cuckolded ————

In the Distortion World, the Team Rocket Trio looked up at Lucas's departing back.

"As expected of Lucas, he really did catch Giratina."

Jessie said, while continuing to command Seviper to inflict poison status on the white-haired man pinned to the ground.

Giratina flew over the glacier, heading straight for Snowpoint Temple.

Cynthia and the others looked up, watching the departing figures of Giratina and Lugia.

Her beautiful eyes narrowed slightly.

Flint: "That wouldn't be ———— Lucas, would it?"

Lucian: ————

Aaron: ————

Gardenia: ————

Byron: ————

Roark: ————

Grandma Bertha: Who?

Maylene: ???

Arriving at Snowpoint Temple, Lucas looked at the seated Regigigas.

Regigigas sensed Lucas's arrival and raised its head.

Giratina: Don't tell me I have to fight it?

Lugia: Damn, isn't that the giant that was beaten into scrap by that one? We have to fight again?

"Re ———— gi ———— "

Is this... coming... to... help me... move?

"Regigigas, is the Slow Start over yet?"

Lucas had Giratina land on the ground, looked at Regigigas, and asked.

Regigigas nodded.

Suddenly, the earth shook.

"Regi?"

Lucas looked up at Regigigas, then jumped onto its open palm and was placed onto its body.

Lucas felt a different sensation and couldn't help but take out his rotom phone to take a selfie.

Who says there are no Gundams in the Pokémon world?

Watching Lucas's happy expression.

Giratina: ??? What does that mean?

Lugia: Is it more comfortable than me?

Latias: If I let you ride me again next time, I'm a puppy.

Regigigas began to run with its strides.

Brandon and the others came over, and just as they were about to speak, they all shut their mouths.

"I don't think I've woken up yet ————"

Riley said to Brandon.

Brandon also swallowed.

What the heck? Lugia? Giratina? Regigigas?

All of them came together?

Just as Gothitelle was about to give out, the sound of the ground shaking came from afar. Everyone looked up and saw Giratina and Lugia had returned.

Behind them followed Regigigas.

???

"Is there a person standing on top of Regigigas's head?"

Grandma Bertha asked Flint, who was beside her.

Flint looked and saw a very familiar figure.

Flint: "That should be Lucas ————"

Regigigas arrived in front of the glacier. Lucas first nodded to greet Cynthia, then looked at Gothitelle and said: "Thank you for your hard work, leave it to me from here."

Gothitelle nodded weakly, then withdrew its psychic power, and was returned to its Poké Ball by Lucas.

Then Regigigas placed its hands on the glacier and exerted force suddenly.

Slow Start · Full Start!

The glacier was slowly being pushed upward by Regigigas.

As the master of the Distortion World, a normal Giratina clearly had a stronger sense of responsibility than the Time and Space dragons, so it came to Regigigas's side and helped out.

Seeing this, Lugia rolled its eyes and also joined in.

Thus, under the leadership of Sinnoh Champion Cynthia, the Elite of the Sinnoh League, the Gym Leaders, and the wild Pokémon of Mt. Coronet worked together to hold back the sliding glacier until the god that moved continents, Regigigas, appeared. Together with the Sea God Lugia and the master of the Distortion World, Giratina, the three legendary Pokémon pushed the glacier back to its original position.

Then Giratina returned to the Distortion World and began to repair the destroyed ice pillars.

Cynthia came onto Regigigas and looked at Lucas's back.

Smelling the familiar fragrance, Lucas turned his head and looked at Cynthia.

"It's resolved."

Cynthia nodded gently.

"I'm so tired, I really want a warm embrace."

The next second, Lucas was pulled into Cynthia's embrace.

Feeling the warmth of the front armor, Lucas's tense body instantly collapsed, and he was held helplessly in Cynthia's arms just like that.

Supporting Lucas's body with her arms, Cynthia stroked Lucas's head and said softly: "Rest well, brave warrior."

"Strange, what is Big Sister saying to Lucas up there? Why does it look like they're hugging?"

Flint asked, puzzled.

The next second, he was dragged away by Lucian to handle the aftermath.

Lugia came to Regigigas's side and used its body to block the two of them, Lucas and Cynthia.

Regigigas: ???

What am I supposed to do now? Should I leave? Or just sleep here?

Lugia: Wait a minute, let them hug.

Regigigas: Huh? Oh.

At this moment, a dark passage appeared in the sky, and a familiar figure poked its head out.

With blue eyes, it looked around, discovered Lucas and Cynthia hugging, and scratched its head.

"Seems like I'm a bit late?"

Latias: Why didn't you wait until we were dead to come?

Gengar: Exactly!

Darkrai: Hehe.

Then it jumped into Lucas's shadow and shoved Gengar.

Darkrai: Scoot over, scoot over, I'll leave once I've seen enough.

Gengar: This is my spot!

Darkrai: Ignored.

Listening to the argument between Darkrai and Gengar in the shadow behind him, Lucas rubbed his face against her, then smelled the wafts of fragrance reaching his nose.

I can still fight for another three hundred rounds ———— · ————

Lucas lost consciousness.
