Lake Verity.

The Researchers turned pale with fright as they watched the light rising from the center of the lake.

"What's going on?"

Seeing the giant white figure fly away from the center of the lake, the Researcher at Lake Valor immediately dialed the number for Professor Rowan's Research Institute.

Professor Rowan stood in front of the large screen, his eyes still drowsy.

"What happened?"

Professor Rowan asked.

"Professor Rowan, something strange happened at Lake Verity. Mesprit appeared in the center of the lake and then left, following an unknown white figure."

"Mesprit left with an unknown white figure? Did you see clearly what that figure was?"

Professor Rowan leaned his hands on the console and asked the Researcher at Lake Verity.

At this time, calls from Lake Valor and Lake Acuity were also connected.

"Professor, there's an emergency at Lake Acuity. For some reason, Uxie left Lake Acuity on its own."

"Lake Acuity too?"

Professor Rowan's brow furrowed deeply.

"It's the same at Lake Valor; Azelf has left, following a giant white shadow."

"Did anyone at Lake Valor see clearly what Pokémon that giant white shadow was?"

Professor Rowan pressed further.

"No, but I saw a human figure on top of the giant white shadow."

Hearing the answer, Professor Rowan rubbed his forehead. "Could it be Team Galactic's doing again? Taking advantage of what's happening in Eterna City—"

"Professor, Gary is requesting a connection."

The assistant told Professor Rowan.

Professor Rowan connected Gary's call. Gary appeared on the screen, "Professor, if I'm not mistaken, that white figure should be the God of the Sea, Lugia."

Gary got straight to the point, "I've seen it before in the Kanto Region."

"The Sea God Lugia? Why would it appear at the Three Sacred Lakes? And who would be standing on its back? What is the purpose of taking the Lake Trio—"

Gary listened to the Lake Valor Researcher's confusion. He didn't answer but just looked at Professor Rowan, "Professor, if I'm not mistaken, the figure on Lugia's back should be—"

"Teacher."

Professor Rowan looked at Gary, "Lucas? He had Lugia take the Lake Trio—"

Professor Rowan thought of something and looked at Gary, "Could he be taking them to Eterna City?"

Gary nodded, "If I'm not mistaken, he probably is. After all, Champion Cynthia is in Eterna City—"

Professor Rowan took out his phone and skillfully dialed a number.

"Hello."

The sound of whistling wind came through the receiver.

"Lucas, was it you who took the Lake Trio?"

Professor Rowan asked.

There was no response for a long time. Everyone present waited quietly for Lucas's answer.

"Don't worry, Professor. I will bring them back to the Three Sacred Lakes."

After a long time, Lucas's voice sounded again.

"Right now, I need them to do me a favor."

"Eterna City?"

Lucas paused for a moment, then gave an affirmative grunt.

"Then you—"

"Don't worry."

Lucas interrupted Professor Rowan, "Everything will be fine, I promise."

Professor Rowan fell silent, then nodded, "Be careful."

"Mhm."

Anyway.

Hanging up the phone, Professor Rowan explained the situation to the Researchers on the screen, "Everyone, go back and rest. The Lake Trio just went with Lucas to resolve some matters."

Everyone present tacitly understood and didn't ask more. They said their goodbyes and hung up.

"Lucas, please don't let anything happen to you."

Professor Rowan tugged at his usually meticulous mustache, speaking with worry.

On the screen, where Eterna City was located, only a giant crater remained.

Eterna City—

It had vanished into thin air.

Lucas sat on Lugia's back, with the Lake Trio following beside him, flying all the way toward Eterna City.

"Cynthia, wait for me."

His voice was extremely dry, but incredibly determined.

"Lugia, can you go any faster? Don't worry about me."

Lugia turned its head slightly and then suddenly flapped its wings.

A violent wind rose.

"The brat?!"

Jessie was shocked.

Oh no, we've been spotted!

"Team Rockets?!"

Ash and his group were equally shocked. Then Ash looked warily at the Team Rockets trio, "What are you doing here?!"

"You're not trying to take advantage of the situation to do something bad again, are you?!"

Dawn clutched a Poké Ball, looking at the Team Rockets trio.

"We haven't even had time to do anything bad yet—"

Jessie retorted loudly.

"That's right, meow. We inexplicably ran into Darkrai, and then Palkia and the others suddenly appeared. How would we dare to run out, meow?"

Meowth said.

"By the way, brat, where are you guys going?"

James asked.

"We're going to the Spear Pillar to find—"

Before Ash could finish, Dawn covered his mouth.

"Ash!"

Dawn scolded Ash. Ash realized his mistake and immediately shut his mouth.

"It's none of your business."

After saying that, Dawn pulled Ash and the others to continue their journey.

"We must quickly find the 'oración' Stone Disc that Lucas mentioned."

Dawn said.

Ash and his group took off running.

The Team Rockets trio was just about to leave in the opposite direction, but they stopped after hearing their conversation.

"Did you hear that, meow?"

Meowth asked, looking at Jessie and James.

Jessie and James nodded. James spoke up, "I heard it's something Lucas wants to find."

"Exactly, I heard it too."

Jessie agreed.

"Then it must be something very important, right?"

James asked.

"Even if it's not something important, it's still something Lucas wants, meow."

"Meowth is right. Should we follow them, steal it in the chaos, and then give it to Lucas?"

Jessie suggested.

James and Meowth nodded.

"Lucas is usually so good to us. Let's go snatch what he wants and give it to him. He'll surely be very happy, right?"

James said.

"Great, meow. Then let's make a plan to steal it and give it to Lucas, meow."

Meowth had just raised his hand to speak when he was grabbed by James and Jessie, one hand each, as they followed Ash and the others.

"What plan? Just follow them and snatch it directly."

Jessie said.

"I remember now, 'oración' is kept in the Eterna City library, not in the Spear Pillar."

Connie shouted loudly.

"Mr. Connie, do you remember where in the library it's kept?"

Connie nodded and then changed direction, running toward the library.

Arriving at the library entrance, Connie pushed open the doors, walked in, and went straight to the place where 'oración' was kept.

Looking at the giant Stone Disc in front of him, Connie said, "This is it."

"It's this big?"

Dawn couldn't help but say.

"Never mind that, let's hurry to the Spear Pillar and put it on."

Ash directly picked up the Stone Disc in his arms and said.

"By the way, Mr. Connie, how does the Spear Pillar play this?"

Brock raised a question.

"Because the Spear Pillar is the world's largest musical instrument."

Connie answered.

"Oh, whatever, as long as it can play. Let's go quickly."

Ash clutched the Stone Disc and ran toward the Spear Pillar.

Dawn, Brock, and the others followed closely behind.

Also following behind was the Team Rockets trio.
