The team moved cautiously through the underground prison, their footsteps echoing in the damp, heavy silence. The cells stretched into the darkness, their rusted bars groaning softly as if stirred by an unseen breath.
Sarah's eyes darted across the shadows, her voice low. "This place is huge… How many prisoners were kept here?"
Lisa's gaze lingered on a cluster of shapes near the far wall. "Look… over there."
The Ki light pushed back the darkness, revealing a pile of bones—skulls and scattered remains, their surfaces stained with age. Some were still clad in tattered remnants of armor, others lay bare, picked clean by time.
Sarah's hand flew to her mouth, her face going pale. "That's… a lot of bones."
Lisa stepped back, her voice trembling slightly. "Were they heroes? Or prisoners…?"
Sein let out a dry laugh, though her eyes remained sharp. "What, afraid of a few old bones? They're not going to bite you."
Sarah shot her a glare. "That's not funny, Sein."
